which school is best among these can you please tell me or should i opt for other schools?

also please let me know if we get admission in sec 10 dav is it a good school to opt for?

DAV Sec10 is  among most sought after school in Gurgaon.

You should go for it, in case you get admission.

Above are sorted as per my knowledge but please change as required. Also if you feel I have missed out a good school, please add.

Hi Urvashi,

What school had said was that if the kid is selected then the parents should receive an email within seven days of attending the curriculum desk and as of now there has been no email from the school.

So, i guess they might have closed the process by now.

As far as I am aware there are three different versions of response from school.

1. The e-mail acknowledgement from school mentions that selected candidates should receive one to one communication "within a week's time".

2. During curriculum desk school staff informed that selected candidates will receive communication "within 10 days".

3. A called up school help desk around a week back and they informed that we should still wait for response "until end of August or September first week max".

So even I am not sure that how they are managing the admission process in background..

Couple of possibilities are as below.

1. There could be a delay because of unforeseen circumstances and School has yet to send communication to selected candidates.

2. The school has already sent the communication to selected candidates but they are still keeping it open considering few (very few) parents may decline (May opt for any other option). So in that case school might have to send communication to additional (kind of wait-list) candidates until August last or Sep first week.

I am planning to visit the school day after tomorrow to try to find out the exact status.
