Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Not only on this forum but most of parents in Gurgaon could not relate with ideology of Shikshantar as they started readmission in previous years in same month and might do this year also .

Having done a lot of research on Gurgaon schools this year and knowing and seeing kids of friends who go to Shikshantar, I can share that Shikshantar is a great school for parents whose prime objective is to have their kids connect to the Indian roots (a great choice if I was to only keep my kid till say class 3rd or 4th) . The school, however, has not been able to somehow keep agile and evolve with the changing modern times, and has got left behind when compared with the new age schools which are offering much larger exposure to the external world. No foreign language, inclusion of technology in the curriculum not as much as one finds in a new age school etc. are definite improvement areas for the school. My views are entirely personal.

Thanks a lot for the information. Very accurate I believe. We are very keen on Shikshantar. I think the school has a lot to offer that is of value to the young kids. The non competitive environment and natural surroundings are especially appealing to us.

Shri Ram and Shiv Nadar are extremely difficult to get into. What is your opinion of Kunskapsskolan, DLF Phase I school? We have our interaction on 10th Sept.

If your are not going to have any issue of distance of the school, if your kid is not going to have any inferiority complex as many of his/her classmates would be expat /CXO children, getting dropped in Mercs/BMWs and going for overseas vacations (when covid gets over) it's a school you can consider. Bear in mind that my research on schools, having attended a day out at the school few months back, where prospects were invited or feedback from parents suggests that the teachers/school authorities have a tinge of arrogance or rigidity in their approach. The snob value perhaps. We hence decided to not keep Kunskapsskolan in the reckoning.Views are entirely personal.
