First rule of nursery admissions block your first seat and yes better if both siblings go in same school.
To be on safer side n ask for fee refund policy of Apj

We are thinking of blocking the seat too..

Out of ~1.31 lakh initial fee around ~27K is non-refundable. Rest seems to get refunded.

(Not sure whether there is any catch in TnC as the accounts person told that refund policy is as mentioned in the fee slip)

Pls chk even if orientation fees paid that would be non refundable as we saw in in last few year of APJ branches of DELHI NCR

For orientation fee, they have mentioned-

"If Withdrawl Application submittted after Orientation Programme, ORIENTATION Fee will not be refunded"

Also, not sure how smooth is their last few years fee refund policy. As I could see on this beautiful forum that in few schools parents had to follow around whole year to get the fee refunded.

So though refund is mentioned on paper. I believe it will be a uphill task to really get refunded.

Just double chk with school if orientation fee to be submitted at the time of session starts then no worries as you would be clear by that time where to admit.

Orientation fees need to be deposited now only but through a separate cheque, not sure why.

I was clearly told that orientation fees is also refundable but that was verbally, not sure what will they say afterwards. Also they told that it takes around a month to get refund back.

Yes the separate DD of orientation fee (25K) has to be deposited now itself. The accounts person has told.

About the refund of orientation fee, they have mentioned in the fee slip. But yes, it has to be seen what happens actually.

Hi Niva,

This year we have paid ~55K as first quarter fee. After wards ~25K in second quarter. Hope same will be in 3rd and 4th quarter as well.

Last year fee was less (~45K Q1, afterwards ~21K Q2/Q3/Q4). This time they have added ACs in all class rooms etc. It seems due to this they have increased it. These fees are including bus charges.

GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION – NURSERY (2018-2019)

Parents seeking admission for their children should note the following to avoid any inconvenience:-

Eligibility Criteria: For NURSERY: Children born between 1st October, 2013 to 30th September, 2014.
The Form of a child whose age is lesser than/more than above mentioned age, will not be accepted
Registration forms can be downloaded from the school website (www.stthomasghaziabad.org) from 19th August to 25th August, 2017. Forms will not be available from the school.
Duly filled Registration Forms and relevant documents are to be attached and submitted at the Registration counter on 29th ,30th and 31th August, 2017. (Timings: 08:30 am – 12:00 noon.). Incomplete forms will be rejected.DO NOT STAPLE THE FORM DURING SUBMISSION
Change in the date and time of submission of forms in any case will not be entertained. No form shall be accepted before or after the given date and time on any ground.
Registration fee at the time of submission of Registration Form is Rs. 700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred only). This amount is to be paid in CASH along with the Registration Form and is non - refundable.
Original Birth Certificate obtained from the Municipal Corporation/Municipality/Panchayat should be submitted at the time of interaction. (After verification, the Original will be returned.)
The names of short listed candidates along with the intimation of dates for informal parental interaction will be displayed in the School website (www.stthomasghaziabad.org) as well as on the school notice board on 16th September, 2017 at 2.00 p.m.
In case you fail to take admission on the date specified, the seat will be offered to the next candidate in the waiting list. No claim for admission will be entertained subsequently.
Decision by the management will be final regarding Selection & Admission.
Mere Registration does not guarantee admission.
No recommendations will be entertained.

Documents to be submitted along with the Registration forms:

Self attested copy of the Birth Certificate obtained from Corporation/Municipality/Panchayat. (Affidavit or Hospital Certificate will not be accepted.) Any change in Date of Birth on later stage will not be accepted.
Family photograph ( Post card size ,combined one).Photograph clicked on any other occassion will not be enterained.
Baptism Certificate & a letter from the Parish Priest. (For Christian Minority Students Only).
Certified copy of BPL Card issued by the Magistrate. (for BPL Category only)
SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable) to be submitted.
Affix recent passport size photographs of the candidate at the designated places on the form.
Residence proof. (Rent Deed, Registration of the House, Electricity/Telephone Bill etc.)
