Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Yes, Sarvagya. There can be different prospective to see on the school by different person.
I am not saying my list will be accurate. As its nothing just the compilation of the small small comparison done on this form by other parents and Moderator.
It can be more refine by parents like you. With more acceptable comments.

Dear Vikas, I am really confused between Somerville and FASN. Need to know which one is better for small kids( coz after 3-4 years when they will be in class 2 or 3, they will eventually be part of rat race irrespective of school). So beginning with a good base is very important. Also since we are both working, so need to know will that make a difference in choosing these schools ( example amount of homework load etc)..

Hi Mithun,
FAS start daycare too.
Nursery 45 child 1 T + 1N. As i know its the highest strength for Nursery among all schools.

Still My choice will be Somerville. Depend on parent exactly what they are looking for.
Both school are same in manner of discipline. So strict too. Non AC.
Child may face issue to adjust if coming from preschool culture (depends).
Fees FAS<Somerville.
Playground FAS>Somerville
Locality FAS<Somerville
Result in top class FAS<Somerville
Missionary culture FAS>Somerville

Safety FAS=Somerville
Still i will suggest to take decision based on your convenience. More or less school are same.

FAS start daycare means ? FAS has daycare facility ? What about sommerville ?

Hi Hitu, yesterday I went to both the schools( specially to see the day care of FASN). They have very basic setup for that. Approx 20 seats and the rooms are also very small. One activity area, and one wash room. It is in the adjuscent building. It starts from 12.30 and up till 6PM. It has 2 teachers and 1 didi. They provide food, 2 hr sleep and from 4.30 till 6 PM they will help in the home work and other activities. The fees is 4K without food. With food it’s 5k.

Hi Hitu,

Don't take my comment as final. You can also do some research or search.
From last few years i checked the Science toppers ( among top 3) in NCR is from Somerville.
I am not able to find FAS child's in top of the list. But its depend on child too.
FAS as far as i know rated better then Somerville due to big football playground, strong missionary thoughts and low fees. Confidence level of child higher in FAS.
There are more then 4 Somerville in NCR, but still Sec22 Somerville only able to make his position.
