STEP BY STEP - ADMISSIONS

Session: 2020-21:

 

We are pleased to inform you about the admission process for the year group Montessori (2020 - 2021).

• The application forms for admissions to Montessori for the session (2020-21) will be available online from 1st October - 16th October, 2019.  Parents are requested to fill and submit the form online through our website www.sbs-school.org

• Age Criteria: The child should be 2 years 6 months to 3 years 5 months old as on 31st March, 2020 (date of birth should be within - 01/10/16 - 30/09/17, both days inclusive).

• SBS, Noida will conduct a tour of the school for the interested parents on 17th and 18th October, 2019.  This walk around the school will be organized between 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm on both days.

• Parents are advised to fill only one form to avoid cancellation.  They are requested to make sure that the details on the child’s birth certificate should match with those filled in by them on the online form.

• We request parents not to seek appointments regarding admissions during this period. Parents are also advised that any undue pressure on the school over the admission process would result in the application not being considered.

Hi Parents

Could anyone please help me understand the class levels in SBS as it starts with Montessori. Do the kids then go to Nursery or LKG? My son is 3 years now (Sep 2016 born) and is eligible for admission but i feel by the time the session will start next year, he might get behind if he joins the Montessori as ideally he should be in Nursery then.

Request your guidance & help on this question.

Schools use different nomenclauture.

Pre- School= Nursery =LKG.

Prep=Pre- Primary= KG= UKG.

In SBS, child would be promoted to Nursery after Montessori.

Also pls see eligibility criteria for Montessori in SBS as your son is not eligible .

Rest most it is personal choice.

Also, could you kindly let me know if SBS opens up for Nursery admissions as well post Montessori admissions?

SBS does not  open admissions for Nursery.

Thanks Sakshi. Usually whats their process, do they interview parents and the children? And is there a draw of lots?

There is interview of parents and children but never posted by any parent regarding lottery.
