The second round for FASN was scheduled for today. However, we decided not to attend it as we were not comfortable taking our child to school in this current pandemic situation. Moreover, this is process in violation of government guidelines. In my opinion, any interaction session can be managed online and does not warrant requesting child to come to school.
Moreover. we were also not aligned with admission process at FASN. They asked us to fill an online form and then requested us to submit a hard copy at school. This even defeats the purpose of online process. Then, they have two interaction sessions, one online and other offline. Who knows, they might even ask students to come to school even before the pandemic is over.
This is just our personal opinion and everyone might not agree. But we had to take a stance against something that is not right for our children.
Really appreciate your stand in these pandemic times...Our Child's health and safety comes first and everything else takes backseat..
Even i am of the same opinion. This is not done and school should understand.
I am also not in favour of going to school tomorrow, at the given time.
it’s risky at this time with such small kids.
Respect, Sana.. Thanks for highlighting and motivating me..
Agree, school approach is completely in violation of pandemic guidelines and not sure if they have taken any permission from administration to conduct (m sure it wont be allowed).
IIT/NEET exams were conducted after so much of debate and just to safeguard the students academic year. But, they are big kids who can follow some measures to keep them safe.
In case of current nursery admissions by FASN, it's for next academic year which can wait if they necessarily want to hold physical interaction sessions.

i was also thinking the same. then my husband talked to coordinator. they assured us abt kids safety. believe me, they have maintained social distancing and all other precautions very well.
many other schools is also calling parents for interaction and submission.

It is more about school's unreasonable attitude and demand than about social distancing. There is no right or wrong answer here. It's just matter of personal beliefs and opinion.
Hi Sana,
Kudos for holding and maintaining such a strong stance..couldn't agree with you more! Even we were thinking of not going ahead with second round when we got to know that there would be a physical interaction as well! We are not even letting our child go out to play during such times then there is no question of taking her out for such an elaborate interaction process!
Although we didn't make it to second round which we kind of already knew after such a hushed up first round of online interaction where there were a hell lot of network issues from school's side and they just asked 2 questions from the child and nothing from the parents and asked us to log out immediately, it all proved to be a sham in the name of an online interaction! We had participated in 3 online interactions before and all the schools were so thorough, professional and respectful of their as well as our schedule without any waiting time which wasn't the case with FAS interactions..Highly disappointed with the school!
However, these views are entirely personal and may be it was just this one off case of strange experience with us! Congratulations to the parents and kids who made it through the second round..Good luck and stay safe!
Truly said sana, I had same experienced with FASN
Appreciated Strong Stand and yes Child Health & Safety is on top priority.
Yes u r right.. Its completely parents choice.
Howz ur interaction?
