Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Yes. DPSI opened registrations on 25-Aug (?) without an end date. I registered on the first day and got interaction for 12-Sep. This is the only school that had such a big gap between registration and interaction. I think they just opened registration to make money, before other school results started coming out.

What about St. Thomas School, Indirapuram....I heard from few parents that though no fancy stuff but it is also a good school.

At the time of admission Rs. 55000/- including first quarter fee

Rs. 30000/- quarterly

Anupama can you please share what they are asking in somerville interaction. Are they taking the kid to a separate place? Because my son is very shy to speak to strangers

They wont take the kid to a separate room. All 3 of you will be in the same room. Parents will be talking with the Principal and kid will be sitting in a small kids chair near the Head Mistress. It will be like 2 separate interviews happening at the same time. So even though my kid was sitting 2 feet away from me, I didn't hear a thing.

From what he told me I understood that he sang 2 rhymes.. 1 english and 1 hindi. They asked him to identify colors and I know he can do that. I saw an animal picture book. I think they asked him to name fruits/veggies/animals. They offered him a Perk chocolate and he took 1 and said thank you.

My son is also a very shy kid and was hesitant when we said we are going to a big boys school. So i changed the story to say we are going to meet 2 aunties who will give you a chocolate if you answer all their questions and sing a song. The idea of a chocolate reward was the only thing that made him say Good Morning, thank you and Bye :)

If possible do a mock interview at home and give him a chocolate in the end if he answers. At least he will know what to expect.

Why somerville... then she looked at our last school/college attended.. asked about that... We are from south india. So most of the questions were like how long have u been in noida... how do u like it here... was ur son born here... etc
Asked if I am working.... why I quit my job... why we didnt apply last year(my son will be 4 in dec)... also about his playschool... what are they teaching there...
Thats all I remember... It was just 5-10 min long...
The Principal was a very pleasant lady. Very easy to talk with.
