It's ur call ritesh.... Is ur child shortlisted in both? Personally distance is the most important criteria for me.... FAS vaishali had started operations this year only so no feedback at all.... And although dpsgv is not a franchisee of dps society it's an established school so it's ur call totally .... I think Sakshi the grp moderator might help u out in taking this decision ...

In last post you mentioned you are moving ahead with DPSGV for your kid.can you please share the points on which you made this decision,this will help me as my daughter got selected for DPSGV too.

Hi himz

First of all dpsgv was strongly referred by my son's playschool principal . Also when I went for the interaction at dpsgv there approach towards the interaction procedure I was really impressed with .... They had taken the interaction in a small hall where they had set up a play area with few parents there with the children ... If the child was comfortable with the teacher then it was ok but if not then parents were also sitting with the teacher.... Also kids who were not ready to sit for the interaction, teachers were asking them while they were playing.... Kids were given a normal atmosphere , kids were given ample time to feel comfortable .... Also students of dpsgv seemed happy , it conveyed all about school's approach.... Plus the student teacher ratio there is also impressive 30:2 . I think with this ratio individual attention is also given to each and every kid . According to me it's a very important thing. Plus it's an old institution. I hope ur able to take a decision based on these points . Also I think there should be an equal balance between academics and activities I found it in dpsgv . Do let me know about ur decision.

One more thing I don't prefer high student teacher ratio as it decreases the amount of attention a student gets.

I appreciate and thank you for your reply.I felt the same.Really liked the approach.The best thing was my daughter felt so comfortable she was with teacher along with her mother so yes the approach was systematic that's true.i went today to clear my doubts about the fees and spoke to one student of class XIth Science section PCM branch she seemed happy and satisfied.so i will be submitting the fees 2mrw.Lets be in touch this will help both of us in near future.

Hi Chhaya,

I also agree strongly that there interaction process was really very impressing, especially teachers interacting and convincing children for reciting rhymes, and other activities. Also they allowed my wife to sit nearby to my child.....................................and based on one of the parents input their teacher student ratio is also 30:2....that is good for getting enough attention to each child.

I am also about to complete my admission process by tomorrow.
