yes kiran admissions r still open in sec -1 amity....after submitting the online form you need to submit the hard copy in the school...they have given me form submission date of 3rd october

After seeing so many parents not going for DPSI, I too am getting a bit inclined towards Amity Vasundhara 6. Any parents who have decided to go with DPSI? Would like to know your perspective too.

Hi Neha, I am waiting for result from DPS Indirapuram after 2nd interaction. I hv a huge bias against Amity Vas. I know a lot of parents would disagree with me but there is a lot of subjectivity involved in these matters...I went to Amity at the time of initial form submission and after my first vist only i changed my mind and did not even take my son for the interaction...

In contrast to it I liked DPSGV better and my son even got through it. I wanted to deposit the fees there but my husband wanted to check out DPSI results as it is closer to out house....

Hi Neha, I suggest that you take views from parents but your final decision should be based on your analysis alone and what you feel about a school. never go by what other parents like me say or feel....

having said that....when we initially went to deposit forms at Amity we reached a little early and we were made to stand outside the school as apparently school doesn't have a good enough reception area to seat parents. For me this was like an utter lack of infra....when we entered it was all concrete in contrast to DPSGV where a small walk through the open area surrounded by a ground with colorful swings made it very appealing (this is very subjective though but it mattered to me). Further in Amity bus there is no school teacher in morning and in after noon during the drop time there is only a maid unlike most schools where teachers do accompany kids. Finally as far as I could find out, Amity bus doesn't come inside Shipra suncity where I stay...these were enuf things to put me off.

Hi All,

I would like to share Somerville's school gesture which really touched me. I went to revoke admission of my daughter today. They asked me the reason and I told them that my daughter got selected in DPS and it's walking distance to my home.

They were fine with this and accepted it very generously. I wasn't thinking to get Rs 20k back which was taken on name of trust but to my surprise they even agreed to return that money. I met another fellow there who said that they will deduct minimal amount and refund the rest.

Feeling much relaxed now!!! Thanks Somerville....

We are staying in Sector-37. Experience of admission in DPS Noida was ok types. I have shared my experience earlier. I tried to protest a bit but they hardly care. Biggest challenge is that, we as parents agree to their demands since we want our kid to get the best and school knows if it's not you someone else is in line. But still you can try. I didn't like the lack of transparency in the fee structure. They take 90K and don't give any breakup not even fee. They assume if you are coming to DPS you will pay.

I agree that DPS assumes that if you are coming to DPS you will pay. Same is true for DPSI !!
