what the govt is doing to make sure those using EWS fraud income certificates are punished and their admission cancelled . The schools should be asked to make EWS list public along with all details .

EWS Applications need to be scrutinized and checked thoroughly to confirm only valid candidates are getting admitted.

Yesterday while I was in queue in Cambridge school, a guy with really NOT lower income group appeared and submitted form in EWS category and went back in an autorickshaw. He was very decent looking, wearing a very good shirt and black trousers and was having laptop like bag. He was definitely NOT EWS. If he is earning less than a lakh an year, I am surprised how he could buy shirts similar to people who earn 1 lakh a month. Affording an autorichshaw? Not sure if it is really possible..

i too find a girl in K R Mangalam World School, looking like actress with full of make up and dress on.
she was there for filling her sister form in EWS category. which was very much surprising for me too.

Mr. Pankaj may be he is from Disadvantage Group in that group SC/ST people can apply for them there is no limit of income even they are earning Rs.1 lac monthly he can apply in that category.

You are right even top officials, IAS, IPS may apply for DG under EWs quota.

Yes, a SC doctor earning rs. 1 lakhs per month SHOULD get his child admitted to a school but a poor lower middle class man earning 20 thousand per month from general category should have NO right ... is desh ko koi bachao......

All this kind of irrational and stinking logic earn more votes and those who want to stay in power has been doing that from day one of independence and still vouch for same.

Forget about making the list public by the schools. According to DOE circular schools can't even write EWS against their names.
The list of selected candidates should be displayed alongwith the General Category.

Points system is really negative for the parents with first child ...as several parents get an unreasonable lead of 20 points in case of sibling .... I feel its not fair

i agree Pradeep. it should have been 20 points for both first child and siblings...

I completely agree with this point....first child should have been at par with siblings in same school....Mr Vohra should take it up....
