This shows how intelligent authorities are..an individual doesn't have right to provide education to first child but if by God's grace first child gets an admission somewhere then yes second child can be admitted as if this is a country which needs to promote child birth and giving an incentive for second child instead of first.
Not against sibling getting points but there is no explaination why sibling deserves points and the first child doesn't get any points ?

iam having only one single girl child. But if i would have a sibling for my daughter , i would prefer both in same school. i think sibling point justifiable.

i agree... even i am applying for the admission of my first born son but i feel sibling points are justified as it saves parents the pain of going to two different schools. If they award 20 points to first child as well then the sibling points would hold no worth. At this point, most of the children getting 70 points are worried about their chances, if first child points are also added then most of the children would be getting 90 and still chances of admission will be bleak!

Even I agree with you. I am applying for my daughter who is a first child. But I am totally in support of sibling points. It's in the interest of parents and kids only that both the kids go to same school.

Moderators please take service of some really older people to help the besahara people here. Remember how our elders in joint family would never let us down and encourage us in toughest of situation? We all need that kind of encouragement.. dhadhas bandhao..

samiran, guidelines says if it is inter-state transfer from same organisation, points will be given for sure.

why have we given special quota to all catholic schools? there are number of good cathloic schools in delhi and giving 51% preference to catholics, where does the general population land??

I am still worried what will be considered for TWINS? I have twin daughters and none of the schools in East Delhi are admitting to consider 20 sibling points for Twins saying nothing concrete has been stated by Govt.
Plz help...
