Ajay, you got it. Let the current be going on and pass guidelines for next academic session 2015-16 so much time with the government and courts to think, re-think, analysis in details to give their judgement befitted to all parties.

As far as I have understood, the March 11 hearing which the SC has requested the Delhi HC to expedite is for the next academic session 2015-16.

The current year will go as per the LG Guidelines.

"This academic session you can go on with this notification, we can see for next year." - Justice Manmohan of Delhi HC.

Well said.

I 100% agree. Today I went to DPS mathura road and to my surprise I saw a very smartly dressed (rich looking guy) coming out from an expensive car to submit EWS form!

Hello Sir, I m really grateful for ur effort to make our life simpler by handling such a difficult issue of nursery admission. Thank you so much for helping all d parents... Also I want to thank our education department in helping and providing all the necessary information required for complete admission process.

Sir as of now i hv applied in 3 schools under DG group of EWS category as i belong to SC category and have faced casteism and discriminatory behaviour by the school personnel. A totally unacceptable behaviour.

Sir My question is Can education minister do something to stop such a discriminatory n biased behaviour  against SC/ ST n EWS category????

Will my child also face the same casteism n discrimination at school???   Or

Should I fill General category form to save my child from such casteism of schools whose fees r totally unaffordable????

Thank you so much

Regards

Dr. Priyannka Badalia

Dear Dr. Priyankka Ma'am.. I feel really sorry for the problem you are facing while applying in schools.. Unfortunately being in General category, you see we dont have 25 % reservation like you people enjoy, I have applied in 21 schools till date..... Some more are lined up for the next week.. And I didn't find any of the staff misbehaving with people of EWS category...I am really surprised you have a prefix of Doctor in your name and you call yourself from DG/EWS group.. This is a shame on the Indian education system that a doctor's living standards have not improved to enter into general cadre yet.. You must have got a medical seat due to SC/ST quota which should make you employable enough... Now the irony is that your child should also enjoy this.. All the general category people, pls share what is your opinion over this..If a parent from SC/ST/OBC has got a seat in an educational institute or a job, he has ideally improved his financial status and can afford his kids education.. Why should  the reservation benefit be extended to his next generation? Reservation benefits have been given since more than 20 years.. Atleast one generation of Indian reserved category has taken the benefit.. Why the next generation?

I completely agree. I do not agree to DG category being part of EWS (except child with special needs). Most people in DG are already enjoying many reservations in colleges / jobs etc. Once the parents have availed these reservations, they should be able to get themselves at-par with the general category.

Agreed! If a person can afford education expenses of their kids even he/she belongs to SC/ST/OBC category, no benefit should be given to those.

They are grabing chances of a child who genuinly needed and can't afford the expenses of his/her education.

Dr Priyanka, To most of the schools I know, DPS Mathura Road does not discriminate so. I have seen a person at the gate window was quite knowledgeful and replied to various queries satisfactorily. I have not seen even ques at the window. Very fast in action.

Today I visited DPS MR and amazing EWS forms were out 820 by 1130 am. I think admission in EWS category is more difficult than General open seats because most of the schools are having same trend of distributing EWS forms to a target of about 1000 to 1200 for about 40-80 seats in all schools.

Fake EWS persons will be paying for their lies because of being rejected due to preference to 1 km radius. All those beyond 1 Kms are having good chance for being rejected. (Who knows mighty God is behind this result if it comes true).

Wake up fake EWS parents. Have fear of God.

My question is regarding school fee, is Govt. doing anything to regulate fees of private schools.

are there any guidlines to regulate admission fee etc. exist?

every school has its own criteria of filling and submission the forms. Some schools like SD public school pitampura, goodlay public school of shalimar bagh etc. need group photograph of parents and child.

In Jaspal Kaur school shalimar bagh forms are submitted till 11:00 am, in goodlay public school time is till 12:00 noon.

Why can't there be a common form format and common timings of schools?

I see loads of discussions on EWS being done here on this portal.. I think people like us applying for the first born are stupid.. we should have even got EWS certificates made.. People from EWS come in swanky cars and have latest smartphones with them.. Me and my husband did a calculation for EWS section:

If the total income of EWS parent is Rs 8333 and lets say he pays rent considering the amounts of rents in Delhi.. How will he afford some or the expenses of school fees?

If the EWS parent has his own home, do you qualify him belonging EWS? I think we all know the sky rocketing prices of properties in Delhi.. If one can afford home in Delhi, then he should not be qualified as EWS...

Even if we assume that the parent is EWS, cant we get to know the salary scales being offered by the organisation he is working with?

It is totally impractical that people applying through EWS are actually earning less than Rs 100000 per annum.. We should not forget that except fees of children, there are other expenses too which we need to sustain in a city like Delhi...
