Mr Vohra - if you can ask the below on behalf of all Parents tired of this every year circus:
Mr Education Minister,
1. As parents of Future Responsible citizens on India, run from school to school, standing in queues which remind us of License Raj days to simply get a CHANCE for Nursery Admission for their wards - Is their any hope for this AAM AADMI ?
2. Is this the BEST system Govt can put into place even after more than 65 years of Independence ?
3. Why does the Govt machinery sleep throughout the year, and only wake up in Dec and hurriedly puts in Nursery Admission system which is different every year ?
Have any plans for a centralized admission process in Delhi? If yes, When?
Have any plans for Fee Regulation Act? If yes, When?
Jyoti GDG sec 9 ?
Dear Mr. Sumit Vohra,
I am very-very thank full to you for helping us in nursery admission process.
I have a question to education minister why some school demand child vaccination card, I am very tense because I have no vaccination card,my child is healthy and medically fit & fine.
Thanks,
Shakir Anwar
Shakir Anwar, there had been few cases in the past which questioned schools management for the same. Therefore, it may be one of the requirement. If you have not done so far, plz do it. Many cases have been seen where a person is sounding healthy physically, but when tested for examinations found positive.
therefore, the point is not quite strong and valid. Polio eradication programme is one of the example and is being implemented frequently on Sundays across the country.
I am afraid that many schools may not be able to interpret and effectively implement DOE guidelines with respect to arranging draws. This is coupled with the fact that nursery admission forms are inconsistent across schools. e.g. there are certain schools in Dwarka whose admission forms does not collect alumni information, or ask parents to select one of the many categories e.g. girl or general etc. I am afraid that this should not mean that a girl child if not selected in girl quota should not be entitled for General quota. Thanks
Last few years all schools come out with first list and 3 or 4 schools come out with 7th and 8th list too. Minister should ensure that all schools come out with 2nd list and subsequent lists with transparency.
Mr. Vohra,
Centralized Admission Form is a good option.
However, in case does not happen so, then to restrict huge rush and undue stress for the schools and parents as well DoE should make categories of all schools area wise so that parents can apply only to those schools which fall under the same category.
Why because parents residing in Rohini are applying to Birla Vidya Niketan, Ambedkar Nagar. No use, unnecessary burden for that school to keep a record. 10-15 schools can be earmarked for one category of area. Parents outside one category should not be allowed to apply (online restriction should appear as soon as one enters address details).
None of the schools is considering Twins under sibling category.
Please help.
