New Delhi: The last date for nursery admissions in private unaided schools has been extended to June 30 by the directorate of education (DoE). The original deadline was March 31.
DoE had earlier announced that the admission process in all private schools should be done between January 1 to March 31. But more time was required as many schools in ‘rural and non-conformist areas’ were still left with vacant seats.
“A number of complaints have been received by the directorate of education to extend the last date for closure of admission process of unaided recognised schools, especially from schools in rural and non-conformist areas of Delhi which have not received sufficient number of applications to fill up their seats,” a DoE circular stated on Friday.
It further stated that a few other schools had also not received enough number of applications for the EWS category. As per DoE’s directions, all schools now have to keep admissions open till June 30.

Clip| भास्कर न्यूज & नई दिल्ली मुफ्त एवं अनिवार्य शिक्षा अधिकार कानून के तहत आने वाले छात्रों के अभिभावकों के लिए नर्सरी में दाखिला अभी भी सम्भव है। राजधानी के कई स्कूलों में इस वर्ग की सीटें नहीं भरने के चलते शिक्षा निदेशालय ने दाखिले की तिथि 30 जून तक बढ़ा दी है। यह आदेश खासकर उन स्कूलों को ध्यान में रखकर दिया गया है जो ग्रामीण व अनधिकृत इलाकों में चल रहे हैं। बीते साल दिसंबर में सरकार ने सभी निजी स्कूलों को सत्र २०११-१२ में दाखिले के लिए एक जनवरी से ३१ मार्च २०११ तक की तिथि निर्धारित की थी। ३१ मार्च बीत गया है ऐसे में अभी भी काफी संख्या में स्कूल गरीब कोटे के तहत दाखिलों की बाट जोह रहे हैं। इस संबंध में निदेशालय को निजी स्कूलों की ओर से लगातार यह शिकायत की जा रही थी कि अब तक सीटें नहीं भरी गई हैं। जबकि, ३१ मार्च को दाखिला प्रक्रिया को समाप्त किया जा रहा है। स्कूलों के अनुरोध को मानते हुए निदेशालय ने सभी स्कूलों को दाखिला ३० जून २०११ तक करने के लिए कहा है। अतिरिक्त शिक्षा निदेशक (एक्ट) शशि कुशाल ने इस संबंध में निर्देश जारी करते हुए कहा है कि सभी बच्चों को शिक्षा का समान अवसर देने के लिए यह निर्णय लिया गया है। |

WHATEVER SEATS LEFT IN THE NURSERY ADMISSION HAS BEEN CONVERTED INTO MANAGEMENT QUOTA BY 99% OF DELHI SCHOOLS. SO THERE IS NO BENEFIT TO THE EXTENDED PERIOD.

i agree with u 100% but some schools might have vacancies and might not be able sell their management seats
they might again open seats

As you mentioned that some seats are vacant in Indian school. WIll you pls advice how to approach them as they don't allow you to meet the Principal or to enter in the school

my child has still not got any admission. I am IT consultant at Delhi, Alumni of DPS mathura road. My wife is X Montessorian, my house hold income is not under 1K and my regular income cannot afford management quota rate. Does my child comes under any criteria for Education for All System.

Any justification on christian minority schools keeping minority quota in addition to management quote whereby reducing the possibility of getting admission to general category. Hence, either minority quota to be maintained or management quota, is it possibile ??????

There are a lot o vacant seats with schools. They are still trying top sell them so Govt. has again worked in favour of schools as usual

My child still not got admission on nursary because there are huge amount to take admission on private schools.
I want to take admission on any school near to east delhi like preet public, AVB public.....
Can any one provide such things or suggest any school which would be better for child.
