Dear Parents,

My son got selected in Lotus valley for Nursery. Other option which is in my hand is of Shalom Hills.Apart from them I had applied in DPS-45 and Amiown.

 

What are your views/Advice regarding these options.

Appreciate advice from Mr Vohra and Sakshi as well.

Congrats Deepika as  Mr Vohra says  block your one seat first then try for your dream school

i think you should take parents feed back for which school to go for

Hi Deepika,

I was exactly in the same dilemma as you are in but I have finally decided for Shalom Hills.

The positives for Shalom are:

1. Established about 7-8 years ago and very positive feedback from parents.

2. Management is easily approachable and actively involved in schools day to day activities.

3. Non-AC environment (I consider this as a positive considering Indian climate  - we want our child to be used to a normal natural environment atleast during the initial years of his schooling). Later if I want to move him out from a AC env. to a Non-AC school, he may not be able to adjust.

4. As of now, the fee difference is not that big, but If we go by experience of other "Rich Schools", it may increase in future besides other expenses. The money saved can be used for higher education of your child later.

 

The positives for Lotus Valley are:

1. Excellent Infrastructure. (Though the sports complex may take a few more years to be fully functional and my son in Nursery may not need it for another 5 years)

2. Principal is Ms. Anita Malhotra and patron in Ms. Shyama Chona of the DPS RK Puram fame.

3. Positive feedback from Parents.

 

These were my considerations. But the final decision should be yours.
