Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school. This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

THE LINK FOR ADMISSIONS OPEN IN DELHI 2012-2013 GROUP IS GIVEN BELOW

from where we can apply minority certificate

Exactly what is the school demanding for certificate or proof. For proof you can show your TC or School leaving certificate for religion and minority community status Affidavit in Rs.100 non Judicial Stamp paper.

I feel there should be an amendment in the form submission timing by the schools. It is totally impossible for any one to get through not more than 2 schools in a day. It seems like it is not the admission criteria but elimination criteria from the schools side.

More over I feel most of the schools have reserved their seats as for their community...guys at one place we say that we are Indians and on the other side our kids do not get admission because we are not of their community.

Please do some thing, there should be equal right given to each and every child to get education from a good school.

Dear Sakshi , Please complete all the columns on decelaration of 1st admission list etc . for ex bal bharati is left blank
Thanks in anticipation

ST MARKS SCHOOOL , JANAKPURI FOR PRE NURSURY , STOPPED GIVING FORMS FROM TODAY STSTING THAT FORMS ARE EXAUSTED AND TOLD US THAT COME AND SEE ON 10 TH , AND WHATSOEVER THEY STARTED SELECTION PROCESS AND FURTHERMORE INFROM US THAT IF SEATS WILL BE VACANT THEN ONLY FROMS WILL BE GIVEN i.e. AFTER 10 th.

one more interesting thing i was told at ST MARKS SCHOOL , JANAKPURI , when we asked that u cant refuse to give formss , then this is answer we got from principle---" this is a pre primary school which doesnot come under guidlines of Directorate of education , hence any guideline issued by DOE does not apply to us " IS IT TRUE

Instructions for Online Student Registration:

To fill up the Student Registration Form online, the ‘Name of the Student’, his/her ‘Date of Birth’ would first have to be registered by the parent with the School by visiting the school office between 9 am and 1 pm on all working days from January 2, 2012 to January 16, 2012. The School Office would then provide a valid ‘Registration Number’ to the parent for the online registration process.

The Online Registration can then be done by the parent from the ‘Online Student Registration’ option using the three valid keys – of ‘Registration Number’, 'Student Name’and ‘Date of Birth’. It is also important to choose the name of the school for which the registration is being done from the drop-down box. The correct prefix (PP, SS or SK) are displayed automatically depending on the school opted for while entering the Registration Number (and hence, do not have to be entered by the parent).

Once the correct entries are made, click 'Get Online Registration Form', which displays the ‘Online Registration Form’. The form has several mandatory questions and a few optional ones, and the parent must carefully fill in the required information in each of these. Some of the fields are initially deactivated at first, and get activated depending on the response of the parent to a preceding question.

Once the parent has answered all the questions correctly, he/she should click the 'Submit' button. The next screen displays the information entered by the parent for each of the fields, and gives the option to either re-edit it (in case they wish to make any changes), or to finally submit the form using 'Submit Form' button. The parent is advised to review the answers typed/chosen, before clicking the 'Submit Form' Button, as the information provided cannot be changed anymore after the 'Submit Form' button is clicked. Please do also note that the online registration process is not complete till the 'Submit Form' button is clicked, and the parent would have to restart the online registration process, if the session is abandoned midway.

If the online registration has been completed correctly, the message to this effect is displayed in the following screen. A .doc file (in MS Word format) is also generated containing the answers provided by the parent. A printout of this file is to be taken and submitted to the school office (latest by 4 pm on January 16, 2012), after affixing the necessary photographs and signatures in the respective columns. This hard-copy submission completes the application process of the child for the Pre-School admission. Please note that no over-writing is to be done in the hard-copy of the form, and doing so would render the application of the child null and void. In case the parent needs to make any changes subsequent to the registration process, he/she must contact the school office with a written request.

In case the parent is unable to take a printout (or download the .doc file) right after the online registration process, he/she can take a printout later by choosing the ‘View Registration Details’ option on the first screen.

Thats Great Lathaa Ji. It would certainly help lots of people interested in Apeejay. Kudos again.

SFS Janakpuri insists on the residence proof in the name of father. The only address proof that I have is MTNL Landline in my name. What can I do ?

Hi All, Is there any list of documents mentioned by DOE which would be considered as Address Proof. I've a Registered Lease Deed but some schools are not considering it. Is that flouting of norms??

In case of rental accommodation, valid Rent Agreement and an affidavit on stamp paper to be submitted. A non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10 duly attested by Notary Public. This the only valid document you have to submit or else schools are flouting norms and indirectly insisting for a property owned parents.
