Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

This is the trend and it will remain same for the other schools . There are rare possibility for enrollment in school for those having low points . The first list itself contains too many excess numbers . How the 2nd list can expect to get call ?

The low points holders should visit school to school after the normal admission is over and request if there is any vacancy in their management quota. Then they can try obviously by shelling few thousands.

I have attended parents interaction of two schools since yesterday.
It was totally waste of time, since school authorities were neither verifying the original documents, nor providing any valuable information.
I failed to justify the purpose of these interactions.
Does any one else also experience the same??

YES YOU ARE RIGHT. AHLCON INTERNATIONAL - MAYUR VIHAR CALLED FOR THE INTERACTION. THEY HAVE CLEARLY STATED TO BRING PHOTOCOPIES & THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH THEM FOR VERIFICATION. STILL THEY INSISTED ON GIVING THE ORIGINAL AFFIDAVITS.

@Supreet: Not all parent's would be as confident. There may be many questions other parents might want to ask. They may want to look up school infrastructure, ask about fees, education, teachers ... the list is endless. I believe the school arranges such forums to try and help the parent community

The list of all applicants with their total scores has been displayed in descending order of their Points at School Gate & on Website today on Wednesday, 18 Jan 2012 at 4.00 p.m.

Verification of documents of shortlisted applicants: Thursday, 19 Jan 2012 onwards.

DPS Dwarka:

Total 105 candidates have been shortlisted in 1st List with maximum point as 80 and minimum as 50.........This list is totally skewed towards Sibling category with 76 Candidates are of Sibling Category (including 3 with sibling plus alumni category) & 29 are of DPS (other DPS schools) Alumni category----out of total 105; cases of girl child/1st born child constitute of 65 numbers.
TOTAL SEATS IN NURSERY FOR GENERAL CATEGORY: 90
(Now you can think of what will happen to non sibling/non DPS Alumni cases.)
