Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school. This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

THE LINK FOR ADMISSIONS OPEN IN DELHI 2012-2013 GROUP IS GIVEN BELOW

Hey Lathaa, please confirm about our reply in the question if we will be using the school transport or dropping the child on our own.

Attested copy by Doc has worked for me in all schools in Dwarka....so u can use that.

Both would work out.

HOW IS SARDAR PATEL? IS IT HINDI MEDIUM TILL PRIMARY CLASSES? PLS ADVISE

Hi Schuchi ji,

Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Lodhi Estate is a very good established school having value based child centric educational approach. This school is very unique in the sense that it has aptly adapted to the changes of modern education alongwith keeping its traditional value systems intact. Special attention is given to the all-round development of the students. The school lays emphasis on excellence and quality equally in academics and extra curriculars. I have seen many students here very bright, intelligent and confident with sound practical knowledge of subjects..
Medium of instruction is Hindi from Nursery to 5th std. and English from 6th to 12th std.

I'd love that for my child. Hope he gets through here! In fact, both of us have insisted on use of Hindi and English at home so that he has a sound base in both languages. I really don't like parents pushing their kids to talk in english all the time and the kids struggling and fumbling if they have to put together a proper sentence in Hindi.

DO WE HAVE TO SUBMIT THE PHOTOCOPIES OF DOCUMENTS IN SCHOOLS LIKE VASANT VALLEY, SHRI RAM ETC. AFTER ONLINE SUBMISSION? WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE AFTER ONLINE SUBMISSION?

They will call/mail you for verification of docs.

Hey can anybody tell me if in the form we are asked whether we will be using the school transport facility, do we say yes or no

poonam it should be your choice
see if the bus route and distance from your home suits you or not...coz if you opt for yes then you are bound to pay at-least quarterly or in some schools annual payment of transport..

Hi Poonam ji,
i think preferably you should write yes...as most of the schools prefer students using school's transport facility. Some schools have given points for this too.
Some schools like Mother's International do not provide transportation in nursery classes.
