Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school. This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.
AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

Jaspreet,
I think they have balanced it by providing points for first kid irrespective of whether its a boy or a girl :) so both aspects carry 5 pts each
Its actually huge inclination towards Sibling where a General category person suffers
DPS rohini & all other DPS schools tend to provide 30 points for siblings
And what if our second child is boy? Then, we can again apply only in those school in which our first child goes.
@Puneet. I think sibling is still fine, its the alumni thingie that beats me the most. To me it is again discrimination. I see most of the people fighting against discrimination based on parents' qualification. I do not see alumni any differently.
@Jaspreet, as you must have read in one of my earlier posts, whichever school I have come across allocating points to girl child, has ultimately made girls and boys different categories, which actually renders these extra points inconsequential.
I really agree with you..........this is reallu unfair for those who have boy child
Life is not fair! Why single out only girl child. Why extra points for Alumni, sibling, single parents etc ... ?? I suppose its a part of whatever philosophy it is that the schools choose to follow. Can't question it! Schools are free to do anything they want as long as they provide a 25% EWS quota
any news from ryan VK???
They will come out with the results on 1/2/2012

From morning this is the case. This school has started calling parents from yesterday that your kid was not able to make in the list and asking to get the seat in management quota.
the only point which is the most valid point in all criteria is distance and i believe thats the only point which is getting least value in almost every schools criteris..dont understand why..
they are giving extra point for Girl Child..again not sure why this differenciation and specially when we talk about equalities among genders..
csn i request Sakshi..to advise which all schools comes up with the list..just the school name so that we can check or cross check the schools
