Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school. This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

THE LINK FOR ADMISSIONS OPEN IN DELHI 2012-2013 GROUP IS GIVEN BELOW

Madam! Many east delhi schools are not covered in the excel sheet. How can that be done??? Because this sheet is very helpful.

because lot of schools did not disclose any criteria in east delhi

Is this sheet updated every day along with the issuance of notice by any school ?

Putting General category as RAA is complete violation of RTE. It subjects to profiling of parents/child which is disallowed under RTE. No school is allowed or even tried such tactics. It clearly indicates that APEEJAY will take/reject students as per their wish.

Yes only 15% for general.

What does the schools like Shri Ram etc. mean by child with special needs? My child does not speak much although he is 3+, can he fall in this category?

No I think a child with special needs means physically or visually or mentally challanged. Less speaking child does not fall under this category. My son too speaks less, he's 2 years 10 months.

By 'special needs' we mean to address all the children who are diagnosed with disability like Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down's Syndrome and other childhood disabilities.

hi, himanshi sahni need to know that my child is only girl child and how do prove it and what documents i need to submit.what to do becoz my child date of birth is 09/10/2008,just month late of prescribed announced date by schools for pre-nursery admissions, what to do in case.pls help me very confused,i reside i rajouri right now means, temporary becoz our house is under construction and it will take around 1year,so i have my add.proof as of rant agreement only with me.of current add.but all my add.proof i have of my prevoius add.that of kirti nagar.and pls suggest me good pre nursery schools even..thanx and warm regards parents..thanx

For single/girl child an affidavit is required. Search for it in this thread you'd find a tonne of references to it. :) About the date, most of the schools need to have 3+ by Mar 31, 2012. I believe there are only a handful that suggest September month.

himanshi, you daughter is eligible for all the schools except one or two schools

Address proof -K R mangalam is good school apply from old address and tell your neibours/owner of old house to cooperate
