Nursery/kg/1st |COMMON ADMISSION THREAD FOR SCHOOLS DECLARING ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR DELHI SCHOOLS FOR YEAR 2012-2013

Parents are requested to not put generic queries but contribute with admission details if they are aware of any school.This would help parent community only and not break the continuity.

AS WE ARE DOING THIS FROM LAST 3-4 YRS WE WOULD BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN TREND, THE ADMISSIONS INFORMATION WOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THE DELHI ADMISSION OPEN GROUP ALSO, AS SOME TIMES PARENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE THIS THREAD

They cannot ,its against RTE ,picking up profession wise

yes on basis of that we need to highlight in big way

we has plan but no principal of appejay came on line

In 2011-12, management quote was included in RAA category limited to 30% seats (see last year's criteria below)....and it was clearly selecting/handpicking parents...

This year, seats for RAA(15%) and management quota(20%) is separate...and totaling to 35% of seats as against 30% last year.... clearly giving additional 5% benefit to school....

Sakshiji...I rmember this criteria was there in 2010-11 also...when RTE was not there....and in the form they clearly not only asked for qualifications / job of parents but also for paternal/maternal granfather/grandmothers in terms of any special achievements...(i have got the copy of 2010-11 form) @ Jaspreetji u r right Apeejay form was very interesting...

I remember we scored poor "9" marks in that category.

And i also remember, they also issue some "online registration no." for Rs. 300/= for giving access to online form.... the process is same this year also....

The reason they gave for charging Rs 300 was that they OUTSOURCED SOME IT COMPANY FOR ONLINE FORMS:)

Oh........that seems to be an excuse to charge Rs. 300/= instead of Rs. 25/=, i'm sure all schools will follow the same soon. Its same like selling prospectus for Rs. 500/= because it comes with nice nice coloured photo prints.

It looks like school specific criteria which all DPS Schools kept last time. But by Mr. Vohra intervention it was scrapped by all of them. Schools are meant to provide good quality of education but act as business centres and cheating agency too.

Last year also parents were not happy with this criteria. Many highlighted this when parents + AN.com protested last year.
