Hi Sakshi,
I am going to change my residence from East Delhi to North Delhi in 1st week of January. How can I produce my address proof while applying for schools in North Delhi. Kindly advice.

@ Pourush Garg,
As per standing rule, the address must be 6 months old. Now it is upto you how you adjust yourself. The school may take a note that you are changing the address for securing a seat in the desired school.

ADMISSION PROCESS 2012-13

Admission Commences 2nd Jan-2012:

PROCEDURE:

1. Instructions to fill the Form online: [2nd Jan. – 16th January 2012 till 10 a.m.]
· Enter the details on the form online. Note down your username and password for future correspondence.
· Print the form on A4 size paper.
· Attach required attested photocopied documents (list given)
o Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation
o Proof of Residential Address: Any two proofs of residential address. One current and one atleast six months prior to date of the application.

[Passport/Lease Deed made atleast six months prior to the submission of the application form/Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill/Electoral Card]

o In case of Sibling applicants: [Identity card / latest fee bill ]
Applicable for 2nd child only

o In case of Alumni of Manava Bharati,(father/mother/both):

[Board Certificate]
o In case of differentially abled children/ national or state awardees/ defense personnel: [Certificate issued by a competent authority.]

o For proof of Parents Qualification: [Only Highest Educational Degrees]

o Proof of employment (father/mother/both) : [From current employer/ firm]

o Transfer Case: [A certificate from the employer stating the details of posting / transfer/ relocation after 01/04/2011]

o Single Parent: [Provide a valid legal proof of his/her single status]

o First Child: [Affidavit stating the same on a non-judicial stamp paper ofRs. 10/- and should be duly attested by a Notary Public.]

o Proof of any Play/Pre-School if attended. [mandatory for Pre-Primary]

· Only staple the photographs with the name of the child.

· Both parents must sign the form.

1. Submission of Form: [In order to be eligible for admission]

· The form with the photographs and self attested documents to be submitted-
The Gate Office,
Manava Bharati India International School,
Panchsheel Park (South),
New Delhi – 110017.

Date: 2nd January 2012 – 16th January 2012
Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

· Note down the Registration Number allotted at the time of submission of form for future correspondence.

2. The School shall inform the parent(s) / guardian(s) in advance through SMS / e-mail / Telephone about the schedule for verification of
documents. Check for your verification date in your e-mail/ SMS from 9th January 2012 onwards. Eligible candidates with complete information will be called for interaction to the school on the dates specified.

MANAV BHARTI CRITERIA mentions submission of "proof of parents qualification" and "parents employment". I guess this is against RTE Act, which bans the "profiling of parents".

What do u say Sakshiji?
