c) The admission process has been carefully designed to provide equal opportunity to all applicants and to maintain transparency in the admission procedure.

14. Final Admission Formalities
Final admission is subject to verification of the following documents to be produced in Original. Photocopies will not be accepted as proof. However, a set of photocopies of the documents will be required to be attached with the enrollment form.
a) Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation (Original Certificate will be submitted to the school)
b) Proof of residence Passport / Registered Lease Deed / Electricity Bill / MTNL Bill / Water Bill / Electoral Card / Ration Card (For EWS / Disadvantaged Group)
Note: School will also verify the residential address through home visit.
c) In case of Sibling, a copy of Fee Bill issued by the school office for the Academic Session 2011-2012.
d) In case of Alumni, a copy of the passing certificate of AISSCE (Class XII) issued by CBSE.
e) In case of First Born Child, an undertaking, signed by both parents, must be submitted as Certificate of Authenticity.
f) In case of applicants with Minimum Special Needs (a child, who can be mainstreamed under inclusive education with the available medical facilities in the school), a copy of Certificate of Disability from a Medical Officer of a Govt. Hospital.
g) In case of Single Parent, legal documents (Death Certificate and Undertaking of Single Status) would be required.
h) In case of EWS / Disadvantaged Group Category, Annual Income Certificate of the parents issued by S.D.M. of the area or Tehsildar will be required with date of Issue not earlier than 31st March, 2011 (Original Certificate will be submitted to the school) or BPL Ration Card (Yellow Coloured) or AAY Ration Card (Pink Coloured). Refer to the guidelines provided alongwith the EWS / Disadvantaged Group Category form issued by Directorate of Education (As given in Point number 1b).

16. Declaration from parents
a) Parents will certify that all the information provided by them is correct and they understand that if the information is found to be incorrect or false, their ward shall be automatically debarred from selection / admission process without any correspondence in this regard.
b) Parents also understand that the application / registration / short listing does not guarantee admission to their ward.
c) Parents accept the process of admission undertaken by the school and they will abide by the decision taken by the school authorities.
d) Parents accept that in case of twin children, in a situation of draw of lots, the name of both will be considered in a single chit. Either both will be selected or both will not be considered for admission.

How do I apply?
Where can I get the DPS, R.K. Puram registration form (General / Staff Category)?
The registration form is available online on this website www.dpsrkp.net only. You need to click the link [ Click here to continue for Registration Process ] at the bottom of this page.

What are the advantages of applying online?
When you apply online, you get an instant online receipt for your form along with the filled form as an acknowledgement. Further, the online process makes validations while you are submitting the form, i.e. you have not left any field blank, etc.

How do I get proof of registration of my online form?
Immediately after submission of the form, a receipt with a Registration No. will be generated. Kindly take a print out of Receipt Page for all future references. Registration will not be completed unless you receive the registration number generated by our system.

How do I know the application status?
All the lists will be uploaded online on this site as per the dates / schedule mentioned above.

What should I do if my locality is not listed?
Applicants residing in a locality/colony, which is not listed above and falls within the radius of 10 KMs, may select the name of locality/colony closest to them. Applicants, who are residing beyond 10 KM, can select "Our of area". "Out of Area" option carries no point weightage for neighbourhood locality.
