The DOE GUIDELINES by education ministry state that parents can fill forms for the admission of their child from 2nd january till 16 january.

However St Marks School, Janak Puri has offline registration and had stopped giving forms for admission today morning itself.

They started distributing forms at 8 am and I had reached there at 8.45 am and they told that the admission is over and we are giving no more forms. Come back on 7 th january to check if some seats are available.

I dont think this is right , at least we all have a right to fill in the form,, this is highly unprofessional and disgusting. They are deviating from the guidelines served by education ministry ans some action should be taken on this

They do not call it nursery class but gibes admission in the name of SEEDING for 3 years child. When ask for nursery admission they only say they do not have nursery classes.

No, they were selling forms in the morning and I met parents those who were submitting filled in forms of their kid by 9 am, but they were not giving new forms, this should be taken seriously as this behaviour of school isnt any good. And those forms were being submitted ,, all were 3 plus kids and not 4 plus,, So plz go ahead and check with this school

In the form it is written that Copies attested by gazted officer grade 1, who all comes under this grade ?

Parents / Guardians are expected to read the following information before
registering your child’s name :
Total No. of Seats are 50.

1. Seats 50% each female & male will be available.
2. Children born between 01.04.2008 and 31.03.2009 are eligible.
3. There will be no Test or Interview of the applicants. Weightage will be given
according to the following:
a) Christian Minority 40 points
b) Neighbour-hood policy 20 points (0- 1 km – 20 points)
(1- 5 km – 10points)
(5- 8 km – 10 points)
(8 km and above – 5 points)
c) Sibling 10 points
d) Single Parent 05 points
e) Girl Child 05 points
f) Alumni 10 points
g) Transferable job 10 points
4. Interaction with both the Parents of the short-listed candidates will be done to verify
the documents.
5. Cancellation of admission at any point of time for false statements.
6. Short-listing will be done by a panel appointed by the Management.
7. Filled in application form along with Photocopies of relevant documents to be
dropped in the BOX at the school gate on or before 16th
January, 2012.
8. The result will be displayed on the Notice Board on 25th
February, 2012 at 4.00
p.m.
9. The following documents (Attested photocopies only) are to be attached along with
registration form :
i) Date of Birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation.
ii) Baptism certificate and Parish Priest letter (for Christians only)
iii) Proof of residence (Voter I.D Card / Driving License/Telephone Bill/ Electricity bill/
Rent deed – less than six months)
iv) Single Parent proof (Death Certificate / Divorce certificate)
v) Proof for sibling (Fee receipt)
vi) Proof for Alumni (Certificate issued by the School / Board)
vii) Transferable job ( Transfer order issued by the concerned department)
viii) Achievement certificate of Parents. ( National / International recognition certificates).
ix) Income certificate issued by S.D.M. ( Only for E.W.S. category)

General Instructions

Admission Procedure Sardar Patel Vidyalaya at Lodi Estate
Registration for admission to Pre-school will be done for children born on or before 31st March 2009.
Since there are limited seats available, all applicants cannot be accommodated. Parents of short listed candidates will be called to verify the details given in the admission form.
After verification of documents, only further short listed candidates in order of merit will be offered admission. In case, there are more applicants with the same points than seats, a draw of lots will be conducted.

No telephonic or personal inquiries will be entertained regarding the status of any application.
Please note that registration of the Application Form does not entitle or guarantee admission to a candidate.
Sardar Patel Vidyalaya is a Co-educational Institution and as a part of our philosophy shall endeavour to maintain Gender Parity.
Admission will be valid only if all the applicable fees and charges are paid in full by the prescribed date together with necessary documents, certificates and on completion of all admission formalities.
Offer of admission does not mean an automatic allocation / availability of seat in the school bus. Request for relocation of the bus stop or extension/diversion in the bus route will not be entertained.
At the time of verification you would be required to bring originals/attested photocopies for submission.
Fees and other Charges should be deposited at the Extension Counter of the Bank of Baroda in the Vidyalaya in cash or by Demand Draft payable to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi.

Parents would be required to open a “FEE ACCOUNT” at the Extension Counter of the Bank in the premises of the Vidyalaya to facilitate transfer of Fees and Charges on a quarterly basis.

The Vidyalaya reserves the right to revise the FEES AND OTHER CHARGES.

Every year, we have more applicants than number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her caliber.

In any matter regarding the admission, its process or the formalities, the decision of the Principal of the Vidyalaya will be final.

You will get a Receipt with Registration Number via email or you can take a printout of the same.
The shortlisted applicants will be invited for verification.
