Hi, My son DOB is 18 Jan 2009. Can I go for admission in Nur or KG which is applicable for his age. Also please suggest me N.C. Jindal Public School, Hansraj, Manavsthali, Faith Academy, Rich Harvest, VEd Vyas which is the best school for him. Pls. do help me in taking the necessary step. i need to know the areas that come under Dwarka sub city and outer dwarka as mentioned in the point system given by DPS Dwarka . my residence is 4.9 km from the school , but i don't know if it is included in Dwarka subcity.wr should i check this

Transport facility is not available for the students of Pre-School and Pre-Primary.
Any incorrect information will result in the cancellation of the admission at any time, even after commencement of the session.

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

Neighbourhood (40 Points)

A list of all localities in the catchment area of the school with points for each locality is available here.

Required Documents: Ration Card / Passport / Voter ID / Property Tax / Latest Electricity Bill/ UID (attaching other documents i.e. Lease/Rent Agreement, Phone Bill, Bank Passbook/statement and Driving License will not be considered for admission).

Sibling (30 Points)

The points will be awarded to the applicant only if his/her own brother/sister is studying in The Mother's International School.

Required Documents: Photocopy of Fee Receipt

Alumni (20 Points)

If one of the parents studied in The Mother's International School and

Passed Class X and XII both from the MIS - 20 Points
Passed only Class X from the MIS - 10 Points
Passed only Class XII from the MIS - 10 Points

Required Documents: Photocopy of AISSE (Class X) and AISSCE (Class XII) Pass Certificate or Mark Sheet

Girl Child (10 Points)

10 points will be awarded to a girl child.

HOW TO APPLY

For candidates applying under General category

Forms to be filled online only.
On successful submission of form, a Registration Number (eg., class/13/...) will be generated. If the Registration Number is not generated, please try again.
The filled-in form is to be printed onto an A4 size paper.
Recent stamp size photographs of the child and of both the parents to be affixed.
Self-attested photocopies of child's Birth Certificate, Residence Proof and other required documents to be attached to the form.
The form to be signed by both the parents.
The completed form with required documents and a Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- in cash to be submitted to the school office between 01-Jan-2013 and 15-Jan-2013 on any working days (9 AM to 11.30 AM). School office remains closed on Second Saturdays and all Sundays. The Acknowledgement Slip will be issued by the school office.

For candidates applying under Free Seats category belonging to (i) Weaker Section (ii) Disadvantaged Group in the neighborhood.

The form is to be collected from the school office or downloaded from the Directorate of Education website www.edudel.nic.in
The form to be filled neatly, recent stamp size photograph of the child to be affixed and submitted with required documents to the school office on any working days between 01-01-13 and 15-01-13 (9 AM to 11.30 AM). School office remains closed on Second Saturdays and all Sundays. The Acknowledgement Slip will be issued by the school office.
No Registration Fee will be charged.
No Points will be awarded to the students of this category. Admission will be granted on neighborhood concept only. In case of a tie, selection will be made through a draw of lots in the presence of the parents / guardians of eligible candidates. Information regarding date, time and venue of draw of lots will be intimated well in advance.

Documents required for Economically Weaker Section :

Proof of residence of Delhi for the last 3 years.
Annual Income Certificate issued by the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or BPL Ration Card (Yellow Coloured) or AAY Ration Card (Pink Coloured).

Documents required for Disadvantaged Group:

Disabilities / Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes (Not falling in the creamy layer) Certificate issued by the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or any other competent authority. Orphan certificate issued by the Woman and Child Development Department of GNCT.

(In case of applicants with minimum special needs / disabilities, i.e., a child who can be mainstreamed under inclusive education, a copy certifying the same from a medical officer of a Government hospital is to be enclosed.)

Note : For admission under EWS / Disadvantaged group, one of the following documents is mandatory.

Ration Card issued in the name of parents with the name of the child
Domicile Certificate of the child or his/her parents
Voter ID of any one of the parents
Recent electricity bill or MTNL telephone bill or water bill
UID of mother/father/child issued by Govt. of India
Passport in the name of one of the parents

School reserves the right to verify the residential address of the applicants through home visits.

Please Note

Incomplete forms or forms without the supporting documents will not be considered for admission. No further communication will be entertained.
Selection for General quota applicants will be based on Point System ONLY.
In case of a tie, selection will be made through a draw of lots in the presence of the parents / guardians of the eligible candidates. Date, time and venue of draw of lots will be intimated to the parents well in advance through e-mails given by the parents in the forms.
List of selected candidates will be put up on the School website on 01-02-2013 after 10 A.M.
Entry to the school is through Gate No. 3, Sri Aurobindo Marg.
