 Delhi Public School, Mathura Road welcomes you to the Pre-School Admission process for the academic year 2013-2014.


Guidelines and procedure for filling the Online Registration Form:
General instructions:
i. Children who complete three years by 31st march 2013(Born between 1-4-2009 to 31-3-2010) only are eligible for registration for the academic session 2013-2014.
ii. The total number of seats available to class Pre-School 2013-14 are 240 (General Category – 120 i.e. 50%;
Management quota -48 i.e. 20%; Economically Weaker Section- 60 i.e. 25%; Staff quota-12 i.e. 5%)
iii. You can apply online through the website - www.dpsmathuraroad.net
iv. Before filling the form please refer to the detailed instructions carefully.
1. Fill the form on the website.
2. Take two/three print outs of the filled form.
3. A list of short listed candidates for verification will be displayed on the school website on the date
specified below. You will be required to bring a print out of the filled form along with attested photo
copies and the original documents on the day of the verification.
4. Please keep a copy / printout of the filled form for your record.
Instructions for the Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged Group
Forms for the economically weaker section and disadvantaged group will be available at the school
gate (gate no. 4) on all working days between 08:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon from 1st January, 2013 till  15th January, 2013 and can also be downloaded from the official website of the Directorate of Education  i.e. www.edudel.nic.in. The hard copy of the filled form must be submitted at the school gate/Admission  office by 1600 hours on 15th January, 2013. Attested photocopies of all required documents must be  submitted along with the form.
Important: You are advised to fill in only one online form (General Category ). Duplicate forms shall be  rejected.

Criteria Definition
i. Neighbourhood: Localities are specified for each area code given above.
ii. Sibling: A real brother or sister of the applicant who is on the school roll during the academic session 2013-2014.
iii. Alumni: Father/Mother or both who have passed class 10/12 from Delhi Public School, Mathura Road (5/10 points to each parent will be allotted for passing class 10/12 respectively).
Father/Mother or both who have passed class 10/12 from any branch of Delhi Public School(3/5 points to each parent will be allotted for passing class 10/12 respectively).
iv. A Child with minimum Special Needs: A child who can be part of the main stream under inclusive education with the available medical facility in the school.
v. Transfer cases: cases of transfer to Delhi from other states (excluding Delhi NCR) between
1st January , 2012 and 15th January, 2013 (gazetted officers of all India Services/ Public Sector Under taking/ Private Sector/ Autonomous bodies under Government of India/ Commissioned officer of Indian Army/Airforce/Navy and International Agency)
vi. Single Parent: Widow/Widower/Unmarried/Separated/Divorcee.


Tabulation of Final Score
i. The list of all applicants shortlisted for verification will be displayed in alphabetical order. In the event of many applicants getting identical final scores in the lowest eligible scores, a limited lottery system would be opted for within these applicants to select children for admission. This option will arise only in case of availability of seats for admission.
ii. Parents of shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents as per schedule given.

The attestation should be done by a gazetted Grade-I Officer.
i. Birth certificate from the registrar of birth or equivalent authority. Name of the child must be endorsed in the Birth Certificate duly countersigned by Registrar of Birth.
ii. Proof of residential address (Passport/Registered Lease Deed/ Paid Electricity Bill/ Aadhaar Card/ Paid MTNL Telephone Bill/ Electoral Card. In case of rental accommodation, an affidavit on stamp paper should be submitted along with driving license which serves as a photo identity). School reserves the right to verify the residential address through home visits.
iii. In case of sibling applicants, the identity card/fee receipt of sibling studying in DPS Mathura Road.
iv. In case of alumni of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road/any other branch (father/mother/both): School leaving certificate/Sr. Secondary/ Secondary Board Certificates.
v. In case of applicants with special needs: Certificate of disability from competent authority.
vi. Single Parent: proof of single parent status.
vii. Transfer case: transfer certificate from employer stating date of transfer (January, 2012 onwards).
 
NOTE:
After filling up the online form along with unique number generated by the computer, click on the submit button and take print out of the form. Kindly take two print outs of the filled form, one of which needs to be submitted with required documents at the time of verification and the other can serve as a record with self.
Any form without unique number will be invalid.

You will be required to drop the Confirmation Page to this submission in the drop box along with a Pay Order/ Demand Draft of Rs.100/- in favour of 'Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka'  from January 1, 2013 to January 16, 2013 (02:00 pm) towards processing charges (Kindly mention Ward’s name, Father’s name, Mobile No. and Registration No. on the back of Pay Order/Demand Draft). Last date of depositing the Pay Order and Confirmation Page is January 16, 2013. Your application will not be processed if it is not received by January 16, 2013 by 02:00 pm.
- School will not be responsible for the non-receipt of Confirmation sent by Post. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
- Do not submit form more than once. Submitting more than once can lead to cancellation.
- Admission will be granted subject to verification of documents. List of the provisionally shortlisted candidates alongwith a waiting list will be put up on the school notice board and website on February 15, 2013 at 03:00 p.m.

EWS Applicants & Disadvantaged Group Applicants
Application form for applicants belonging to EWS category and Disadvantaged Group is available at the school gate or Website of DOE from January 1st, 2013 to January 15th, 2013 between 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on all working days of the school. Seats are reserved for Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged Group as per rules.
-Admission shall first be offered to eligible students belonging to EWS and Disadvantaged Group residing within 1 km of the specific school
- In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing within 3 kms of the school shall be admitted
- If there are still vacancies, then the admission shall be offered to other students residing within 6 kms of the institution
- Students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms area
- In case of an Orphan, a Certificate issued by the Women and Child Development Department of GNCT of Delhi
Note – In case number of applications received in any of above mentioned categories exceed the number of seats available ,in that case selection will be done by draw of lots.

Only children with marginal orthopedic special needs who can be mainstreamed within the existing facilities of the school may apply. Appropriate Medical Certificate from a registered specialist associated with a Government Hospital or a recognized established Private Hospital to be attached.

Instructions for Filling up the Online form:

i. This is an electronic registration form for Delhi Public School, Rohini only. Please read the instructions carefully before filling in the form to avoid rejection of your form. All you need to do is to fill in the boxes with the required information.
ii. Please fill in each entry of the form and write N.A for those entries, which are not applicable to you. Do not leave any entry blank.
iii. Do not press ENTER KEY to move from one field to another. Use “TAB KEY” or mouse control for the same.
iv. After completing the registration form, click on the “Final Submit” button for final registration and printing of the form.
v. Immediately a registration number will be generated and an acknowledgement mail with weightage details will reach your Email Id.
vi. In case of any discrepancy in the weightage details, kindly write an E-mail to nursery@dpsrohini.com. Mails regarding this will not be accepted after Thursday,17 January 2013.
vii. A print out of the same form should reach the school along with a Pay Order / Draft of Rs 25/- (Rupees Twenty five only) drawn in favour of DPS Rohini latest by Tuesday,15 January 2013.
viii. The Admission Formality will be complete only on the receipt of the Pay Order / Draft.
ix. To avoid rejection, DO NOT fill more than one form for one applicant.
x. Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.

EWS & DISADVANTAGED GROUP
25% of the total available seats mandated under the RTE Act will be offered to EWS & Disadvantaged Group (OBC, SC/ST, children with special needs & Orphans) Category. Children under this category will be selected purely on the basis of neighbourhood criteria as per the directions of Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. In case the number of applications exceeds the number of seats available, there will be a draw of lots to select the candidates. All eligible candidates who fulfill the criteria prescribed by the government can apply through the Common Application Form for admission under freeship quota. The form is available on www.edudel.nic.in and a hard copy of the same can also be procured from the school office as per schedule.
SCHOOL MANAGEMENT’S DISCRETIONARY QUOTA
Under the permission of the Delhi Government, 20% seats are reserved for the management of the school. The management is free to offer these seats at their discretion.
OTHER CATEGORIES
In accordance with the guidelines issued by the government and keeping in view the ethos and philosophy of the Modern School, admission under other categories (except School Management’s Discretionary Quota) will be based on the neighbourhood criteria. Preference will be given to children residing within one kilometre radius of the school.

AVAILABILITY AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS

Application Forms will be available from 1st January 2013 to 15th January 2013.

The Common Application Form for the Admission under EWS & Disadvantage Group Category (RTE Act 2009) prescribed by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi will be made available for parents applying under Freeship Quota at the School Office on the dates mentioned above. The form can also be downloaded from www.edudel.nic.in.
• Forms in respect of all other categories will be available on the school website www.rsjms.com on the dates mentioned above. The same could be downloaded and completed.
• Duly completed application forms for all categories will be accepted in the School Office
as under (for administrative as well as public convenience):

from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

b) For Pre‐Primary : From 1st January 2013 to 15th January 2013 (working days only)

Dear Mr.Vohra,

Im still unclear about the admission criteria of Modern school,humayun road as like Bal Bharti Pitampura, it seems they are violating the uniform admission criteria,that is they have left only 15% of seats for the general  category by dividing it 20% for alumni and 20% for sibling cases after reserving 25% for EWS and 20% for mgmt quota.no points system seems to be followed by them,kindly chk and revert back,thx.
