Thank you Bij ji,

DPS Indirapuram has age criteria of born b4 30/09/2008. My son is born in Nov 2008. But my son can apply to DPS Ghazibad. I am bit confused abt DPS Ghaziabad w.r.t its association with DPS society.  Please tell me which schools are associated with DPS Society? Also tell me which one is reviewed better than the others.

As we had confirmed you earlier.

DPS GHAZIABAD 2012-13 ADMISSIONS OPEN (Pre Nursery, Nursery, Prep, I, VI & IX) ADVERTISEMENT has come today (23rd Sept) in HT.

Admission forms available at school between 26th to 30th Sept2011.

All the best for this Academically one of the best schools of entire NCR.

Dear Mayank,

Pls check with the school as 2 years back they were denying for Indirapuram, Vaishali & Vasundhara parents in Nursery citing the reason that junior school bus service not available to these areas and they have a branch DPSG Vasundhara which can be opted instead.

In other DPS my child's age criteria was not falling..only DPS ghaziabad has different age criteria in which it matches...

 

thats why could consider DPS indirapuram or vasundhara earlier..for that matter noida also

Parents say getting seats in Noida isn’t that easy

With several schools in Noida completing registration process, the gruelling ritual of nursery admissions has begun.

Since admissions in Delhi take place at a later stage, applications from the national capital are pouring in. There are more than 50 public schools in Noida, offering 10,000 nursery seats.

“Most schools have got several applications for one seat. Parents go for multiple options,” said Suneet Tandon of Rockwood School. Amity International in Noida says it gets 10 to 12 applications for one seat.

Many schools in Noida such as DPS, Apeejay and Cambridge have completed the process of registration and will soon come out with their lists. This will lead to parents’ “interactions” with school managements. DPS will inform parents about selected children through e-mails by September 20. Apeejay has also stopped registrations, but before releasing lists, it will meet students and parents on September 17 and 18.

But perennial problems persist. “Actual admissions will take place in October. Despite court orders banning interviews, nothing has changed. Only interactions have replaced interviews,” said Anup Khanna, who represents a local guardians’ body.

In Ghaziabad, most schools said they would be providing 25% quota to students belonging to economically weaker section (EWS) under the Right to Education Act (RTE). “There is no distinction. Everybody is called for group observation. The entire process is transparent,” says Rita Kapur of DPS Ghaziabad (DPSG).
