After applying in 34 schools I am still unable to secure a seat for my child... yeah in NURSERY..

Ankur sir ji, this is all because these schools and goverment want to promote donation. My condition is same like you. I have questions for those schools where only 70 and above points are taken minimum score for draw. What about 40 and 50 points students. Why these schools are not participating low score students. Why did they accepted admissions forms earlier. Now we have to approach schools with donation. Very bad day. Best if luck.

Don't know which direction so called intellectual people comprising of honorable courts, Education Ministry and others who claim to have entered to remove corruption, wants to take our society to. Applied in 32 schools all round Delhi. Didn't secure admission in any of them... Forget about the schools where didn't get maximum points on distance, even the ones where secured maximum points for distance got beaten by Alumni and sibling quota. Does that mean people who are just the parent of a single/first child or else didn't study themselves in so called reputed schools cannot even dream of admitting the kids in these schools. We want to make India a shining India.. Not sure what kind of India, authorities want to make. Even after 70 years of independence we are creating gaps in society. People whose generation study in good schools can only be part of those... Rest go to hell :-( All ironical.

I applied in 20 schools and in 17 schools had gud points70, 80. Then also my daughter dint get selected in ny draw. Have no idea what to do now

Same situation. I applied in 22 schools and got selected only 2. The problem is this, the schools in which my son has selected are very far from my place. What do so now, great confusion.

Lucky draw is the most horrible way to allocate school seats. Unfortunately, our education policy makers consider draw as a good way and actually promote it. One needs to find a better solution to this mess.
