Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools
1. Distance from the school is the only criterion that affects a child physically. No other criterion affects the child physically. Criteria like siblings, transferable jobs, awardee parents, single parent and so on are just discriminatory.
2. If more children are sent to neighbourhood schools, all neighbourhood schools would have a chance to develop.
3. Eventually, people would become "proximity" conscious than "brand" conscious.
4. Siblings would stand a greater chance of getting into the same school as they will also qualify for the neighbourhood points like their siblings.

Okay, Shiv B was my alternate ID. I don't know how to access it now.
I am probably banned for not sharing the correct cell phone number with that ID. So much for privacy.
@ Umesh,if u are banned you cannot have access to forum and u cannot comment
why you should be banned
I cannot log into the Shiv B ID thats why I thought I was banned or something. Anyways its okay. By not displaying my last name, I am pretending to myself that I have more privacy now than I had before!

@Stuti
Why discriminate between 2 kids on the basis of distance? To ensure those kids stand a greater chance to get into the schools near their homes. That's why.
In case the child does not feel comfortable with the school nearby, then they can apply to a distant but more 'comfortable' school. Like everyone else in their neighbourhood. And they will have an equal chance of getting into the school. Nothing more, nothing less.
