how much homework/classwork a nursery & prep kid does weekly?

Dear Jyoti,

Not much ..some school which follow holistic dev model do not give any homework ..schools like Dps and others give only one copy to carry ..others are kept in school so you get one sheet of homework ..
some schools give homework only on weekend ..

Class Work .. Not much its school specific 2sheets ( for example free hand drawing /cursing writing) and same is the home work for repeat practice !!

Regarding homework in my daughter's school (AMIOWN PV), they told us specifically that they will give homework only on weekends but not on every weekends. They told us that we shudn't force the child to finish the entire homework, if she is willingly doing then it is OK, otherwise no force learning even if she refuses to do even one page.

Hi summitji,

We are still trying for my son's admission .can u pls advise should i try till june or go for any other school. kindly tell me about good schools in central delhi.he is 3 1/2 now.

Yes admissions do take place till end of summer vacations ..so keep trying !!
