Hi Sakshi, schools like DPS Indirapuram, St. Francis and Cambridge has asked us to get in touch in December-January for KG admission.

We are parents of 3.5 years daughter. We haven't tried for nursery admission last year. This year should we try for KG or nursery for her. We are new at Vikaspuri D Block. Please guide which are the good schools nearby and how can we start.

thanks sakshi to start this discussion .

first of all @ yogender .. if your child will be 3 plus as on 1 st april 2013 , then u have apply for nursery , if ur child is 4 plus then u ll aplly for k g

i will be applying for kg for my daughter next year . i wanna know what r the selection process which school follow for k g admissions as i came to know there are oral tests and screening conducted by schools so that i can prepare my child for that

also i would like to be guided that what were the trends for kg admission last year , how many and which schools from south delhi came up with the seats for kg , and what were the no. of seats ?

do i have to apply early in schools  and what r the points systems which are followed ?

i want all this information as i wasnt able to secure admission last year and i have to secure a seat this year , so i can prepare early .

Hi, Thanks for the guidance Tanmeet ji.

We will be deciding school based on teaching methods. Both of us are trainer and we follow experiential teaching methods.

We know Modern Convent in Dwarka, K R Manglam in Vikaspuri, Bal Bharti in Rohini and if you are looking for south Delhi then there is this school which is class apart called Mothers International in Kalu Sarai.

We're trying for all other good schools also. Let us see. I am not sure about how to get into KG as different schools have different methods. 

We're trying to speak to schools. But they act very sacred.
