Me too guidelines r not clear.schools r calling before 28feb

If it is just for verification you can go. Schools can conduct draw too. But if a school ask for donation for any seat or ask to bring the child to school, bring here to notice or complaint with DOE.

Keep your originals and registration forms or copies ready for verification if any. Note the date of draws in all your school your applied.

Remember your dates by noting down in orderly manner so that you can follow it. Be confident and have patience. Don't fall in trap of any middlemen or touts. Say no to donation and wait for draw of lots and then for first list.  Keep noted if the list will be available in school notice board or website. After first list schools may give 3 or 4 days time to get admission done and so keep your finance ready in hand.

Refer the below FAQ by DOE.

The date for displaying the first list of selected children including

ECONOMICALLY WEAKERSECTIONS& Disadvantaged Group category

(including Waiting List) 28/02/2014

v. The date for displaying the second list (If any)

(including Waiting List) 15/03/2014

1S.Can schools display the list of selected children for admission on dates at

their discretion?

NO. The school has to display the first list on 28/02/2014 and the

second one on 15/03/2014 respectively. Subsequent dates shall be

displayed between 17/03/2014 and 31/03/2014. These dates will be

COMMON for all schools .

40.Under what circumstances, 'draw of lots' will be carried out in the case of

'open quota' seats?

I. In case of excess number of applications with same scores,

admission will be through draw of lots.

II. In the case of vacant / unfilled seats also, admission will be

done through draw of lots.

III. The entire proceedings of draw of lots will be video-graphed

and CD/DVD along with list of successful candidates will be

submitted to Dy. Director of Education on the same day or

latest by the next day of draw.

IV. Screening procedures of any kind like interview, counselling,

written or oral test of any type to parents or child are not

allowed.

v. Draw of lots will be in the presence of either of a parent. There

shall be no observer of Govt /Directorate of Education at the

draw of lots for open seats.

VI. The parent is free to carry a mobile/camera to video graph the

draw of lots.

PAYMENT OR REFUND OF FEE:-

46. Whether the school can collect Tuition Fee from parents on quarterly basis?

No, the school can collect Tuition Fee from the parents on monthly

basis only.

47.How much amount shall be refunded to the parents / guardian of a child, if

admission is cancelled subsequently due to non-submission of original

document by due date or if the information/document submitted at the time

of registration found to be wrong or false)

The entire fee except registration fee I charges shall be refunded.
