You are right in saying that other schools too enforce such standards as they are just bothered about publishing full pagers in national dailies of their students achievements like 99%, 99.8% blah blah blah...The very core reason to deny average students their stream of choice, but if one is already aware that a particular school does that, then why should one choose that school at the first place which is Only focussing on academics.

For e.g have a look at the link https://dpsrohini.com/page/SportsCorner which i just picked up randomly and no personal affiliation, i would say what a fantastic performance and it would atleast give me a reason that even if my kid does not excel in studies, he/she will atleast have the time to cherish his/her moments of schooling by opting for any thing they love apart from studies, be it sports, art or stage, even though the fees might be comparable to south delhi schools.
