We are trying to get it preponed with the help of media ..as its really hot for 3 year kids

sumit ji Apeejay sheikh sarai has declared holidays from May 20- june 30 . They say they have delayed this time because of break which they have to give at Commonwealth time

my daughter is in Kulachi Hansraj at ashok vihar. The summer vacations date declared by the school if from 24th May'10 to 30th June'10.But its very hot and how the small kids can manage in these summers

I quite agree with Seema. Atleast the day is planned this way and children spend it in a productive manner. And especially for working mothers, its a relief that the child is in safe hands half the day!
Moreover children inspite of the heat dont quite feel it as much as we do. They are busy playing and enjoying themselves oblivious to the heat.

Atleast there is a definite pattern to the day it is more organised. Again most of us will be thinking in terms of summer camps for chilldren once thaey have leave so what is the point of preponing holidays. Even at home they will be more busy watching TV or playing games on computers. Can we keep them indoors for such a long period.
