Plight of first born child

Have seen lot of posts ranting about how unfair the system has been. I would want to bring forward the plight of first born child cases whose parents are not alumni of prestigious schools.

 

In DPS, 70 - 75% seats have been cornered by Sibling cases & Alumni cases. Even in draws, Alumni and Interstate cases have got consideration.

 

70 pts parents do not stand a chance, point system in its current form is biased towards siblings, Alumni and Interstate transfer cases. Point system needs to be scraped urgently, with 5% quota for Sibling, Alumni and Interstate transfer cases.

 

Atleast more no of seats would open up for general population who are not falling under sibling, alumni and Interstate cases.

I feel no system will work when the supply does not meet the demand . there will always be parents like us who will get the raw end of the deal  if the system is changed or modified .

Our only submission and request to the  government and schools can be to increase the seats in schools and  also plan to start some new schools asap .
