KINDLY TELL ME  HOW TO CALCULATE THE DISTANCE IE - WHETHER THE DISTANCE IS RADIAL/AREAL DISTANCE OR TRAVEL DISTANCE BY ROAD AS SHOWN BY THE GOOGLE MAPS

It's school specific  even  can be on based on existing school bus route .

Google maps distance is valid. U need to calculate and take print out of the same
