rent agreement / lease deed as address proof for school admission

 hi,

I am staying in rented accommodation in laxmi nagar and i want my daughter's admission in nursery school in laxminagar or nearby schools. I have rent agreement (registered on 30 sep 2015), will it be applicable in 2016-17 nursery admissions as a proof of address?
