CBSE 12 Results are calculated on the final exams’ marks as well as the practical exams’ marks.
Rest parents can share inputs.

I concur with you.
This is not Survey or Ranking.
As many schools do not post results on website,so many parents inquire. This has been RE-POSTED FOR THEM.
But regarding Academics , yes if some school shows consistency in Top 20 schools from last 5 yrs, it certainly shows only Academics level of School.
Moreover these days Parents are more into focusing in Holistic Development.
See.

I concur Sakshi Ma'am.
Class 10 and 12 results alone cannot be counted for deciding a school. It's just overall average performance of marks scored by the students in the school. Nowadays students rely on coaching in private than in school. Few schools even filter weak students and few schools ask weak students to write through NIOS just to increase their QI.
Educationist J. Krishnamurti has quoted real meaning of a School.
A school is a place where one learns about the totality, the wholeness of life. Academic excellence is absolutely necessary, but a school includes much more than that. It is a place where both the teacher and the student explore, not only the outer world, the world of knowledge, but also their own thinking, their own behavior.
He felt that if only the young and the old could be awakened to their conditioning of nationality, religion, prejudices, fears, and desires, which inevitably leads to conflict, they might bring to their lives a totally different quality.
He explored with children their relationship to nature and to one another, and to psychological problems like fear, authority, competition, love and freedom. To him the schools were a milieu in which the larger existential issues could be explored in an atmosphere of freedom and responsibility.
Education should be inter-woven with life, enriching the students with variety of experiences. It should provide each of the students in the journey-of-schooling with lifetime values, life-skills, language skills, talents, sporting spirit, desirable character, leadership qualities and of course knowledge to ensure learning is for life. It should synchronize between academic excellence, physical excellence & human excellence. It should ensure all the mental processes that would
make a learner a holistic human being – emotionally stable; intellectually vibrant; spiritually enlightened and socially committed.
Education should be realistic and to explore reality of life.
I too second it
