....thanks a lot for sharing information on results list.
(results in school gate were posted way back but upoladed by them on net very late. one other observation, out of 300 interactions 112 kids got selected, and i think they will be calling total 1200 parents for interaction.)

You guys are saying the result is out but i didn't receive any call or letter, i visited to school last week & they said that you will receive a call or letter.
Kindly reply on this, what is this happening?

Sir, We have interaction on 18th Oct. Till date they have taken the interview of 300 peoples (till Form no 300). They have selected 112 out of 300. Then they will start taking interview from 18th and the fee deposit date will close for 112 before the result of 2nd lot. Then they will come with another list of 2nd lot. I think it actually happening in DPS. What is your receipt no of Rs 1400/- they are sending letter according to that.

My receipt no is 4133 which is printed & there is a hand written no as well N-1035-11 on top of receipt. Form no is 002215.

OK it means your reg no. is IN-1035 according to this number they are sending letter.

this year DPSI is really doing very good by following a simple pattern where every candidate is called for interaction (real good interaction of parents in pattern of DPS Noida where both parents have to tell a brief about themselves...and just an observation of the child in group of other children in a playful way..really a good approach) and not shortlisting a few from so many by some lottery or some other hidden criteria ....so that all eligible children and all concerned parents have an equal opportunity to show their best on the D day..
...whereas in past 1-2 months we have seen some very good schools of Noida & Ghaziabad were following some or other procedure....i think schools like Amity, Apeejay, Somerville should think about it too..and not create such agony to parents by keeping them in a fix for so many days....as we can see most of the parents here sharing their experiences of not knowing the criteria that at first stage why were they not been shortlisted in these schools?..then after interaction they were again worried why not getting a call even performing well there? even if many others in that period were getting calls.....so total lack of transparency it seemed...
All the best for all parents of the forum who are waiting for DPSI interaction...and heartiest congrats to all who have been selected so far....as parents had been waiting so long to choose a DPS school and many of them had not filed any other than DPS Noida...

Can you explain please. my reciept number is 723... if they have selected 112 out of 300 interviews, then it is certine that they are going to short list all reming 188 children out of reming 900 application. Madum what is the ratio of selection and with what expecation we can hope for a seat in DPS? So child should be at there very very best... how is this possible? I dont think they will give any good reason for not selecting any child though they do well.

Hi Appala your concerns are valid...
But DPSI this year is doing it very well by giving chance to all parents who are serious for the school and have filled the forms..at least they have not shortlisted for interaction a few ones on some vague criteria/lottery basis/random basis as other schools have done prior to it...
So next round of interactions for parents having reg. no. from 301 to 500 have started from today...your turn will come sure as assured by the school to all parents...
Regarding nos. of seats, results declared and actual admission taken....its the same as situation in all good schools of Noida... you can see still interaction/results in process in Amity Noida & Apeejay Noida...as many parents who are already selected go for some other school as per their choice..this is a continuous process....some schools declare 1st,2nd or even 3rd waiting lists and some continue their selection process.....
DPSI has so far selected 112 out of 300...not all will join as per the reasoning given above (many must would have admitted their kid in some other schools)...so selection will continue for all the registered candidates...as probability is not certain for how many join or not,that may be the reason they are calling in batches....in that seqence your turn may come in 3rd batch (may be around 25th Oct onwards)..so keep your hopes alive..
as per selection process as Gauri had explained, :-it is very simple and clear--child's general observation in a different room alongwith other kids...a playful way..where if child takes it easy and enjoys all things and company of other kids..then its a good sign...
--parents' interaction in a group of 15-20 with the principal & headmistress--similar way as happened in DPS Noida-their pls talk about yourself in a very clear, precise and succinct way---about your qualifications, profession, hobbies (if you can),...and let your spouse also speak in the same eloquent way as you have spoken....
