dps eok and vv are considering only 75 and above for draw in general category.
in this way 70 points child will not get admission any where

sumeeta ji, i think it is too late to come out with any amendment now. Schools and parents both have undergone hectic exercises till now. And how can we expect from them some good. It should have been done before its release on 18.12.2013. This shows lack of proper analysis and just approach to everyone. We the parents through platforms like an.com can help LG and DoE on this matter. Here on this many parents are just in their approach for a uniform system of admission and may be even more qualified and experienced than policy makers but ignored in policy decisions. Say Sumit Vohra, Latha, Yash, VR Harihar, Suneet Sethi, (Ashok Aggarwal also though not having just thinking, but still fighting for a cause. and even many more.

This is ridiculous...n strange thing after checking this list is tat sooo many kid r of transfer cases... if actually some parentz have made fraud transfer docs then sorry to say tat this u r gonna teach ur kids!!

in attached DPS Vasant Kunj file, there are few highlighted entries which shows some parents had registered twice or thrice. Please note that this is not the exhaustive list.

Hi Sakshi,
I have checked what Rashmi has pointed out it is true as even the photograph and parents number are same in some case even the dd number is same.
Though on a public forum cannot share but there is bug in the system which allows to see the data. would love to share with interested people.
A simple db query could have resolved this duplication issue as how can same dd number be used for different application. Also did the school never banked these dd so the number of dd banked to the number of application is a simple arithmetic.
Could Mr. Vohra raise it on public and press.
On a lighter note even if these applications are not cancelled still un-officially we know now the general quota lottery is not for 3 but 13 seats. If cancelled as per rule then seats for take is 20 from 3.
Would love to see red faces if in 70 points tie same name is announced twice.

Hi Rashmi,
Thanks for your effort however can you please post the raw xls with all the students list as we can run a vlookup against list from vasant valley which has addresses also.
We can easily find if they have claimed transfer point in other schools.
I am sure we will have more magical numbers as how many children could have same parent names. Also in case of schools in order to bring clarity they should post the address of people getting points for transfer cases so it can be validated by neighbors.

People with 5 points more becauseof transfer cases are having advantage. Those who are based out of Delhi or living in Delhi from long time will not have chance to compete also. Thanx to Mr. Najeeb Jung, LG for such a pathetic point system. They could have given 5% seats to them like girls quota. Heights of Education system in Delhi.

5 points for genuine transfer cases are still OK. what about "SMART" parents who know how to tweak a system to get the transfer certificate? My conscience did not allow me to do that but for many others they would laugh at this thought and would get their kids admitted in front of my eyes.. Their wards would get education and my daughter would wait to get educated paying for genuity of her parents..

Hi Pankaj,
I can understand the feeling, but do you really want your children to turn back on you on setting honest example. Please try to set an example for the children, what is the point sending your children to a brand but they do not turn out to be good human.
Also history has it not most successful people have studied in brands best example is my father who studied in government school with scholarship now he is most sought after professional in the country. I feel proud of him as he fought for honesty and would like to feel the same from my child.

in dps eok draw of lot result no 8 child i.e Harshika vashisht with no E141513693AG showing point 70 and the same girl with same address but different reg no i.e E141513694AG is appearing in waitlisted candidates serial no 2 showing 90 points in the eok list. School should have checked this. Same girl got through draw of lot for 9 seats, then in waitlisted candidates and above all with 90 points in under consideration list also. They should cancel both forms of such children whose parents are adopting such means to secure admission.
