Asked from Sovereign school and the fee is refundable as you mentioned only if admission is withdrawn within a month of depositing.

@Puneet, Depends on which is traditional school being talked about here. Given same stature of this school vs other conventional school, I'd prefer this school. In fact we have taken admission in DLDAV SB (one of the top 10 schools of delhi and conventional school) and in this school. So far our inclination is towards Sovereign even though DLDAV SB is walking distance from our house. Lets see what we decide finally.

IS the school taking fees towards smart class monthly or that too quarterly.If Quarterly payment means ok. Nowadays schools have started to make income in name of Smart Class.

Educomp smartclass implemented in Schools?

Provision of digital content mapped to schools syllabus
All hardware , equipment and accessories – installation and maintenance
Initial and ongoing training of teachers
Day to day support and monitoring of usage

Above all, schools do not have to worry about the funds required to set up the infrastructure to run Educomp smartclass. Any school can adopt the program by entering into a contract with Educomp and pay a nominal subscription fees on a per student per month basis.

And according to last month report they are charging fees in range Rs.100 to Rs.200 per student and not more than that.

I feel the smart card works on the subscription model. For a one-time fee of Rs.400 a student subscriber is provided the smart card which remains active for a minimum of 4 years.

@Lathaa, I have to admit im not sure. But I believe anyone should be able to talk to the school and find that out. Yes Educomp is implemented in school and all the four points you mentioned get a tick from me. I checked the infra, every class (including pre school) has a projector and white interactive board. The in charge also took pains to point out that they dont use educomp material as-is non-intelligently. They make sure they provide their own value-add to it.

From what I saw at Sovereign, without even knowing anything the other schools, id highly recommend Sovereign. The only thing NOT in its favour is its not a brand yet, it does not have branches yet.
