Pl rank the following schools from 1 to 4: Hansraj Model Public School, Punjabi bagh; N.C.Jindal, Punjabi Bagh; G.D Salwan, Rajender nagar; Salwan Monntessory, Rajender Nagar. How are these schools in over all comparison to best schools in Delhi?

Delhi Public School, Mathura Road welcomes you to the Pre-School Admission process for the academic year 2012-2013.

List of candidates granted admission in Pre-School (2012-13)

Completion of Formalities

1. Total number of applications received -2512

2. Number of General seats available-120

3. Documents required for completion of admission formalities:

a) Birth certificate from registrar of birth or equivalent authority in original (First copy/Ink copy). Name of the child, mother, father must be endorsed in the birth certificate duly countersigned by the registrar of birth.

b) In case of 1st born (boy) an affidavit certifying the same to be submitted. This affidavit should be on a non-judicial stamp paper of the value of Rs. 10/-and should be duly attested by Notary Public.

c) Proof of residential address (Passport/registered Lease Deed/Paid Electricity Bill/Paid MTNL Telephone Bill/Electoral Card in case of rental accommodation, an affidavit on stamp paper should be submitted along with a copy of the driving license).School reserves the right to verify the residential address through home visits.

d) In case of sibling applicants, the identity card/admission order/current fee receipt of sibling studying in DPS Mathura Road.

e) In case of alumni of DPS Mathura Road/any other branch of DPS (father/mother/both): school leaving certificate/sr. secondary/Secondary Board Certificates.

f) In case of applicants with special needs: Certificate of disability by competent authority.

g) Single parent: proof of single parent status.

h) Transfer Case: transfer certificate from employer stating date of transfer (since April 2009).

Three sets of photographs of the child, father and mother.

4. Fee Details for the session 2012-13. Please carry Rs.40,000/-(Rupees Forty Thousand) towards lump sum advance which will be adjusted towards admission fee, caution money (Rs. 500) tuition fee for 3 months (April-June 2012) and bus fee etc.

Please note that in case of withdrawal or the student not joining after admission, only caution money will be refunded.

5. Kindly note the date and time for submission of fee/documents etc. given against your registration number.

1) Which school do you suggest between Maxfort Rohini & Sovereign Rohini

2) Did anyone approach Maxfort Rohini today. I called them and they told me to come tomorrow with pp photos of all of us. When asked about money they said they will not disclose on ph. I am sure to block a seat we will have to pay some fee. Anyone who has knowledge on this please elaborate.

@Sonia: I would suggest Maxfort Rohini. Generally they take a "donation" of 35,000 towards Chadha Education Society (don't know the rate this year). Also, they give you a receipt for claiming tax deductions! Remaining is quarterly school fees and transport fees. You can interact with the faculty there and look around the school if it is a non-working day. Best of luck!
