Well they do, after all they have to maintain their brand name but so does, all the second/third league (like Banyan!) schools.
Overall, I feel Banyan tree can't even come closer to DPS. I am purely looking at it holistically.
Go with DPS, don't think too much!
Cheers,
Abhishek
Pros: Individual focus, excellent infra, safety of the child, good peer group (read affluent families), focus on extra-curricular, care and so on!
Cons: Peer pressure (you will have to match up with the standard later on), expensive (loosen your purse string), comparatively less focus on academics, tendency to compare etc.
This is what I feel!
Cheers,
Abhishek
I am now worried for my son's admission next year..things are pretty tight. I randomly looked at 5-6 school results list, to my surprise the ratio of tots got totally skewed to the worse (as bad as75% girl : 25% boys). Lovely points are flawed and biased toward gender which automatically puts my son to disadvantageous position without any of his or his parent's fault.

Yes Anand, the situation is quite scary. Lot of us relocate back to India with young kid tend to forget that the discrimination in many forms is waiting for him. I feel the whole point system is flawed and discriminatory. The point should be given totally on the basis of interaction with the selection committee
