Now our concern is toward the process that will complete the redraws. The notification is relief for those selected on 70 points and that is a welcome decision.

Notification is silent on schools where some 75 pointers have been selected & others with 75 points are waitlisted .Will they also have redraw for waitlisted candidates or will they get confirmed on the basis of waitlist.

@ vipin -for 75 points the wait list will move up. and draw of lots will start for 70 pointers including the transfer cases who has now 70 points

according to circular if a 75 pointer( transfer case) got a seat, then his seat will b released and fresh draw will b for those seats only that are vacated by 75 pointer(tansfer case) now 75 pointer(alumni) if selected through DOL will hold their seats and d prefrence will b given to those with 75 points (alumni) earlier not selected in DOL & If any seat still remains then fresh draw will b for 70 pointers(including transfer case people now reduced to 70 points).
So only some seats will b realesed for 70 pointers, giving them some chance, something is better than nothing.

the fact is that the case made was that alumni get two chances and transfer points get everywhere and transfer points are fake which was proved. logic works and not emotions.
