Sahoday Sr. secondary Hauz Khas OR green fields Safdarjung enclave

Hello,

I humbly request the moderator Sakshi ji and other respected people to kindly help me choose the best among the two.

I have visited both schools.

Green fields nursery wings runs out of school campus precisely an apartment building opposite to the main building.

The main premises of green field though looks decent.

Green field has some brand value attach to it. (word of mouth)

I have not got the chance to meet a parent whose ward studies there to get a clear picture about the QUALITY OF EDUCATION, FACILITIES, FACULTY AND SECTION OF SOCIETY attached to this school.

The diaspora is also important aspect as this is going to be child's friend circle.

Though I have heard people saying its a good school in comparison to other schools in the vicinity.

I need some hard facts in favour of this school to finally make up my mind.

Fees is expensive compared to Sahoday but thats not an issue.

Sahoday has good campus. Neat and clean. Nuns operated school.

Here too, I have not got the chance to meet a parent whose ward studies there to get a clear picture about the QUALITY OF EDUCATION, FACILITIES, FACULTY AND Diaspora attached to this school.

The diaspora is also important aspect as this is going to be child's friend circle.

That's all I could gauge. Now need your expert advise. Kindly help.

I have visited both schools. Apart from few other schools,my son was shortlisted for Greenfield Nursery too . Nursery school is being run in a rented building with limited infrastructure. From class 1 child is transferred to the main branch (opposite to nursery school). Sahoday has good infrastructure and it is run by christian trust. In my opinion both are comparable. Still Greenfield has better brand value. But child gets heavy assignments here and so more pressure on parent and child. Just get it confirmed that child gets to main school (from class 1) without any hiccups and if it is there opt Greenfield. (at least I would have taken this decision had I been in your shoes)

Seeing the infrastructure and meeting the faculty at Sahoday... it mesmerizes me. I fail to understand why such a school, is so unheard and does not command brand value compared to Green fields and St. Pauls (came to know that St. Paul draw is on 20th... so hope is alive).

Pls throw some light what kind of diaspora attend these schools..Green fields and Sahoday. as these will become the kid's peers.

a tug between heart and mind aka Sahoday and Green field persists.

Its a big step as every passing year it would be difficult to change the School. KG..1st.

I met a parent in Sahoday. Got info that kids could not cope with the academic pressure with loads of homework. Later they shifted to St.George's School.

Better go for Green Fields.
