I also applied there for my son, no physical address verification was done, they might have done so for some only(probably) to eliminate the possibility of forged docs..

Also, another possibility might be that the mentiined verification was done only for those who got enough points to secure admission...

how many points are you expecting? I heard from this verification for someone who is expecting 65 points

They called 302 people for document verification for 40 General seats.

They have not given any information about lottery.

I don’t think they shortlist by lottery. They go by point system.

It seems they haven't disclosed anywhere points of those who were shortlisted, looks like they have their own criteria/priority to prepare the final list, we have to wait till Monday(4th Feb)

Agree. My sense is that they called for people with points more than 50 for general category, now need to keep fingers crossed for cut off

They called candidates with people more than 60 points

I thought 50+ as there were very few with 60 and above. 65 is the highest and best possible that any general candidate may claim. 40 for distance + 10 for first born + 15 for language
