I shall be grateful if you could answer my query.

In case a child does not join school after obtaining admission and applies for cancellation of admission, are there any rules regarding the part of the admission fee amount the school has to refund back ?

It is usual for schools to take one quarters fee (along with bus fee and bus security etc) at the time of admission. In case the child does not join school even for a single day and does not avail the bus facility, what amount can the schools deduct from the refund?
