Does anyone know if there are any guidelines for school timings and transport that private school must follow for pre-primary school?

I got my son admitted to KR mangalam, gk2 after getting a confirmation that they are providing transport to pre-primary and the school timings are 8am to 12pm. On the day of orientation, school has now changed all that and changed school timings from 8 to 1pm. And now they say that since school buses cannot return within one hour they will only provide transport at 2pm.

I had admits in other schools and if I had known that this is going to happen, I would not have chosen KR Mangalam. I will try to talk to principal in couple of days and so want to know if there were any guidelines on timings due to which they increased school hours.

Please help. Kind of feel desperate here.
