It is realy a genuine question. How a guideline can allow for bias upto school session and disallow many to attend the session from begining.? No doubt this guideline and the logjam followed allowed for injustice. After visiting many schools in central delhi i find the concept of second and third list mere a eye wash..such is the real condition. I wonder why govt does not move a little to upgrade its schools after experiencing simillar situation every year. This year it has crossed all the limits. Allowing good schools to indirectly reserve 100% seats. Govt. Should think about real solution.

Session should start only after 25th April, when the admission process is supposedly over. Or it may start from 1st May 14.

EXACTLY WHAT MR VOHRA HAS HIGHLIGHTED BUT I THINK DOE IS PLAYING SAFE TO AVOID ANY MORE PIL .

Ekta, have you figured all the average, below average schools in your area? Please keep in touch with them. Top schools and above average schools will give 70 pointers very bleak chance this year. There seems to be no alternative than trying to figure best action for you at current situation. Also some play schools which provide nursery admission need to be considered like Mothers Pride, KidZee, Shermock and may be more. Wasting kids 1 year is no way justified. If no luck this year then can certainly try for KG next year.

sorry one typo here.."Shemrock"

well according to doe every child has a right to education, so i think you should ask doe what to do in that case.

I hope that no injustice will be done & DOE will change the dates for starting of session to May-1
I disagree a little bit with above statement... It must be noted that 80 to 90% seats will be filled by 9th March. Moreover, these parents have paid fees for april. Why should these children wait for final verdict which may or may not come by April end?
Also, max school declare summer holidays b/n 10 to 15 May to June end.
Only solution would be taking extra classes for 10% late joinees. Why you want to make whole Delhi suffer for whims and fancies of 10-15 IST parents who are fighting to get their child admitted in only a Top rung school?
Let their fate be decided by HC but let other continue.
*9th April
Nri ji its not only abt fate of 10-15 ist...its also abt thousands of parents with 70 points who still havent secured seat in any school...like me
More then 50% seats are expected to remain vacant after 9th...

Yes! How they can start new session from 15th April? whereas  no 70 pointers are getting admission in first phase.
