ultimately, it will again create confusions, last minute panic, hassles and in the end the infamous auction for seats.
I fully agree with you but WHO CARES???
Govt can`t do anything on its own ............ it is a old model scooter which always need hard KICK Start.
I think we should wait for the instructions to open and then strategise as we will surely have time to plan. They will not close the admissions before a month.
Relax, Lets Hope for the best!. This is all we can do and nothing is in our court.
Govt should realise that "Justice delayed is Justice Denied".
hello. i live in Safdarjung Enclave.Kindly tell me whether this locality will fetch me full points i.e 20 or 16 points for Modern School Vasant Vihar in lieu of the next session i.e April 2011 with ref to the neighbourhood proximity.
We must inform govt. ministers and there close one that they must act a general category parents who look upto them for new rules and regulations every year. They have shortcut for there kids admission how do rest of 5 lakh parents get shortcut.
We must urge them to please make the system more transparent and fool proof so that the first step of kids must be very simple and not complicated as getting admission in IIT or other college is mush easier then to get admission in nursery.

This clearly shows a confusion & chaos with in Goverment offices / authorities and it also shows that government authorities are not at all focussed and just waiting for the last minute to come up with some guideline which will create more panicky among the parents & schools. Parents and schools should be given ample time to review & clarify the new guide lines and if it requires to shift the school admission process by few weeks, it should be done.
We are looking for guidelines for admission in Nuresry class and not for admission in Engineering / Medical / administrative services. The guidelines should be simple enough to cover majority of childs / parents and should be transparent enough to give confidence to parents for belief in the system.
I am not able to understand what are we really complaining for, does it really make any difference whether the policy is declared today or a week later till the time we are assured that the schools are going to follow the procedures and the guidelines of RTE and the govt. authorities would ensure that.

hope and wish that all us look forward to a positive outcome of all this wait and each one of our children get the best education that they deserve rather than just complaining about 56 million reasosn which really dont impact the course of action.
Is there a guideline that new policy or any amendment has to come in a week before the admission. Why this cant be finalized in Sep or Oct when everybody knows that the admission procedure starts in Dec each year. Why this policy amendment is only applicable to Delhi why not in NCR or i would say why not all over India.
Truely I am fed up with the way this whole approach is being followed with so much of confusion around. What do they think about the parents as if we dont have anything else to bother about except our child admission. Such efficiency and ineffectiveness in the system has caused so much trouble for the parents that even while working in the office we are thinking about the admission procedure all day. PATHETIC and SHAMEFUL.
very valid point kashish
